The 99W drive in is our favorite Friday night activity. They show new movies paired with classic favorites, mixing it up each week unless there's a demand for a repeat. In the middle of the season you might catch a Thursday night horror film, too. The snacks are tasty and always hot. We've been maybe a hundred times and will keep going as long as they're there. We drive an hour, and it's always worth it.

The staff is so friendly! I loved the commentary of facts before the showing as well. Also had fun with the collective car honk that was called out over the radio station. What a cool experience!

Don't forget to visit the snack bar!

Movie set up and parking is nice. Spacious enough to bring friends and set chairs out together by your cars. Food court and cost was disappointing. Just frozen foods cooked in the microwave.. usually still cold.

The last time I saw a movie at a drive-in theater was "The Fifth Element" back in 1997; had I known we still had one in our area, I'd have been coming a lot more frequently! Now that I know, return visits are definitely going to be a frequent occurrence!

Some friends invited us to see the Godzilla+Kong / Dune 2 double-feature, meaning we ended up staying for over six hours, well into the wee hours of the night! Although they didn't have the wildly inappropriate Dune 2 popcorn bucket, everything else about the experience was awesome! Talk about a blast from the past!

For an extremely reasonable price (our ticket total came to $35 for two adults and four kids), you roll on in and find a spot to park your vehicle (closer is better, if you ask me), pop the trunk or tailgate, tune in to the radio broadcast (96.5 FM), and settle in for a long, but enjoyable, nostalgic cinematic experience.

The concession stand in the building nearby is similarly retro, with classic monster movie posters, tchotchkes and movie props, an old TV playing the employees' film of choice (Empire Strikes Back, during our visit), and concession prices that don't seem to have changed much since the 90s! Massive popcorn buckets run you $4, $5 or $6 bucks, soda is cheap, and other fun treats, such as a couple of microwaved White Castle sliders, cost you a whopping $3 bucks. Unlike any major movie theater chain, the prices here are affordable enough that taking the entire family won't break the bank!

If you're an oldster (like me) looking to relive a classic movie-going experience from your youth and share it with your family and friends, or a youngster wondering what all the fuss is about, 99W is the place to make it happen! So pack up the kiddies, grab some blankets and pillows, and get yourself on down to Newberg, because rain or shine, it's movie time!

Just so fun. Came here with some friends and had a blast. Played some board games while we waited for the movies to start. Grabbed some snacks and enjoyed how they kept it super retro in such a fun way.

My family loves the drive in! I’ve been coming here and to the Dallas drive in since I was a kid. I’m glad there’s still one drive in and we drive an hour just to be here. Concessions are nice and prices are fair. I love that you can vote for movies on Facebook. We try to come at least once a month as soon as it opens. Thanks for lots of happy memories!

Was super excited to try this place out with the kids. Hadn't been here since I was a kid. The drive in it's self was cool. Very retro. Awesome snack bar. Great prices. But the super let down was the wait in line every where. Multiple hours of waiting. I believe they really should look into pre sales would make it a lot easier for everyone. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the patrons attending were not , very rude all around us. Yelling at their kids, turning on their lights, smoking pot and drinking. Making lots of noise. We won't be back.
