We are so grateful for Front Porch Musical Theater! We enrolled our daughter in her first play there as a five year old and after 8 years it is still her favorite activity. She has done a couple plays with a few other theater groups but Front Porch is by far the best group she has ever been a part of! Everything from the quality of the shows, the encouraging & invested staff, the creative costumes & beautiful sets and the lifelong friendships! The kids are given so much opportunity with Front Porch. They of course learn, acting, singing and dance but they are also able to learn about production, costumes, makeup, set design, leadership, time management, & hard work! Tim & Linda are wonderful directors that truly care for their students and treat the front porch families like an extension of their own family. We have always felt so fortunate to have found such a wonderful environment but this year especially Front Porch went above and beyond to keep musical theater going for their students and it was a lifeline for many. Thank you so much for all that you do! We're looking forward to the next production!

My children have been students at Front Porch for over 10 years and I have nothing but complimentary things to say about this company. I have been very pleased with the staff and the training that's been provided.

My kids love being part of Front Porch and continue to grow and improve as theatre students. In addition to getting to perform in great shows they have also built many friendship with the other students.

Lastly, I am always amazed at the quality of their musical productions when the shows "hit the stage" at the end of each semester.

I have had the pleasure of being in the audience for several of the Front Porch theater productions and have watched many of the shows on videos throughout the years. As an elementary music teacher for over 35 years, a vocal music director and choreographer for many community theater productions myself, I can say without hesitation that FP theater is one of the most professional youth community theater groups I have ever seen! The acting and singing is phenomenal, and the sets very creative and professionally done. The team of directors that pick all the parts, from the leading roles to the smaller, but significant parts, do a great job in choosing and then helping the students develop their roles. I have been in their position and know how hard that is to do, but not one person on stage is weak, which has always amazed me! I know they must all love and have a passion to work with these kids and want to bring out the best in each and every one of the students on stage. You can tell every child loves what they’re doing and want to be there! What they are learning will stay with them the rest of their life. I applaud everything that Front Porch theater has done and continues to do in the lives of all these kids and young adults!

Front Porch does an awesome job training and coordinating the most fabulous plays and musical performances! Our grandkids are members and not only perform but have also moved into support and teaching functions. It has given them amazing skills in music and acting. Front Porch owners/managers are talented and caring individuals who have really created a wonderful environment. I highly recommend attending performances in the future or purchasing/watching the current semester’s productions for an at home movie night that will not disappoint!!

I have been to productions or shows that Front Porch Theater has put on over many years and I would highly recommend them to anybody. From what I’ve seen the acting and singing parts have been exceptional. They also do an incredible job on their sets and props. The performances I believe are five star and very professional. All the actors and actresses seem to put all their heart and soul into the productions and the directors obviously do too. It always looks like they are really enjoying the parts they are playing.
I’m very much looking forward to see the productions they did this semester. I’ve already ordered the DVDs to Frozen and Little Mermaid. I’m very excited to receive them in the mail! What a blessing Front Porch Theater has been to me and my family.

I have been going to Front Porch since I was five . Once my mom told me that I was signed up for my first show, I went on the couch and cried because I was so incredibly nervous. I remember my hands shaking as I walked into their rehearsing studio. I was quickly welcomed by Mrs. Linda’s amazing smile and Mr. Tim’s warm welcome. They have been amazing directors and it has been truly an amazing experience. When I was little, I was shy. I would often be seen hiding behind my mother when I was introduced to people. Front Porch Musical Theatre helped me come out of my shell. I am now longing to be a public speaker because Front Porch has helped me speak, perform, sing, and dance in front of people with ease. Most importantly, I have FUN while I do it! We moved out of state and I am devastated I can’t be there anymore. I have done 22 shows with them and every one has been an splendiferous experience! I love Front Porch and I am so thankful for how much they have helped me grow(plus, I made lifelong friends which is also a bonus). Thank you Front Porch for all you’ve done!!!

Our kids started being a part of Front Porch before it even had this name or a permanent place. Sweet, short productions for kids, wide range of abilities and ages, all working together...it was heartwarming and super fun! The Lindeens have broadened their reach and the opportunities for kids to experience the arts in so many ways since then. If you are looking for a place for your kids/teens to learn and grow artistically, you don't want to overlook Front Porch!
