My sweet Ryka girl enjoyed going to daily daycare here for her first two years. She would SPRINT from the car to the gate, and anytime the word "daycare" was mentioned, she'd lose her mind. They did an amazing job caring for her while I was at work and I had a tired doggo to pick up each day.

Unfortunately when the city (shame on Hillsboro) started mandating certain restrictions, the business had no choice but to raise their rates, and we had to stop going. Although we would have loved to keep attending daycare, the new rates didn't fit my personal budget. But Ryka sure misses all her friends!

A dog’s hide-a-way is the perfect place for a safe and healthy outdoor environment for your pup. Dogs run free through woods and streams, and some easy obstacles for their exercise and mental stimulation. There are always plenty of humans in the vicinity of the dogs to insure the safety of the pups. They are a very professional and caring staff. If you want a safe and healthy outdoor environment for your dog, this is the place for you. Our family likes A Dog’s hide-a-way better than the indoor and crated experience of other day care businesses.

Dog's Hide-A-Way has been a life saver for us. Our pup Grim, comes home exhausted from the fun he has playing with his friends. He has become more social with both people and dogs. The prices are very reasonable! The people, that help and love him are friendly. I can go on and on and on about how great this place is. Thank You for being in our community.

We recently moved. My poor dog has had the worst separation anxiety. I couldn’t go anywhere without him. But it was getting to my mental health as well. We are only on day 2, but this has been a godsend. He is sleeping through the night. He's not clinging to me. He is finding peace. I am finding peace knowing that he is being taken care of when i'm working. I could cry just talking about the relief this place has given our little family.
Update: we are on week 2. He was an escape artist. And I thought they would kick him out. But they actually found ways to keep him safe. And he is doing so good! And when we are home, he is getting more independent. I can’t thank these people enough. This place deserves 10 stars!!!

This was our first time leaving our family dog Mochi for boarding care, so we were a little bit nervous about it at first. But after meeting the kind staff, seeing the location in person, and having flexible boarding options made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Mochi had such a good time and we cannot express how happy we were knowing she was in such great hands! We also really appreciated all the updates that we received. We cannot wait to continue to bring her here!

I'm hesitant to leave this review because I don't want the word to get out, but this place is incredible. The place is like 4 acres and the owners live on the property. They roam the property and can play in the stream that runs through it. The dogs sleep in the owner's house. They take such great care of all the dogs and Gary posts photos and videos on Instagram every day so you can see how your pup is doing. My dog will never stay anywhere else. 5 stars isn't enough.

We highly recommend A Dog's Hide-A-Way for both doggie daycare and boarding! We've been taking our dog here for a few years, and she absolutely adores the staff. We know she's in good hands here. The vast outdoor space allows her to run to her heart's content and the indoor areas are great for extreme weather days.
