I have been a patron of Touch of Class since they were located at 14315 Beacon Ave in Orland Park, which dates my patronage. Shirley, the previous owner, was OUTSTANDING as a human being as well as a groomer. Paulette originally took care of my second pup, a little mini-schnauzer (Sadie). She was WONDERFUL also. Then to the present time. Andrea groomed my aging pup for a couple of years since taking over the business from Shirley. All was going well... until it became disastrous! Sadie was a delightful little pup, loved by EVERYONE. She would allow anyone to do anything to her without flinching since being rescued in 2010. Hugs were plenty by all veterinaries; vet techs ; Paulette and especially Shirley. Sadie had multiple teeth extractions through the years, leaving her with only two incisors; visually impaired but able to see, along with some hearing loss. Sadie was diagnosed with dementia about 18 months ago. She was medicated to keep her calm with trazadone twice/ day as well as an OTC calming aid. I made a point to always update Andrea with Sadie's health record. Sadie wouldn't hurt a fly.
On May 30th, upon picking Sadie up from her coiffure; I walked in to hearing Sadie crying pitifully. I was astounded to hear her! When I questioned Andrea as to what happened, she belligerently responded that was indeed Sadie.."I did the best I could with her face. She didn't want to hold still, so I muzzled her!" I was speechless. She went on to express her hardened heart comment that I "would be selfish if I didn't put her down". She retrieved Sadie handing me a completely urine soaked leash which I asked her if that was urine... "Yes, she peed all over it."
I left her establishment in tears. Two days later my little pup was put to rest. It's with a saddened heart that I have to write this review. If I was able to make it zero stars I would. Andrea is extremely cold... rude... not compassionate.. only in it for the money. No words of sympathy...empathy...nothing.
RUN DON"T WALK from this groomer, at least if your pup isn't 100% healthy, cause she will not show any sort of tender-loving care... especially at the time in their lives when they need it most! Sadie was a BIG part of our family. Her loss will be felt forever. I HATE the thought that she may have been abused two days before departing from this world. We rescued her from an abusive/neglected situation almost 13 years ago. How heartless is that? Sure miss the previous owner, Shirley!!

This is our third time having our George groomed by Andrea and I have nothing but wonderful things to say . She did exactly what I asked for him and even more! He looks and smells fabulous and could not say enough good things about her .. thank you again!! First is before and other two are current

My two dogs come in for grooming for long time. Is best place in all Illinois. Atmosphere highest class,toched by Europen style.Very clean. Andrea knows perfect her job and does that very quickly and well.. One of my dogs are large size dog. She groomes him last than in a hour. It's very big deal for any dog!!! Before, I found this place, another groomers kept him for 4 hours?!!! Very sad.

Loved, loved the service! It was the first time I took my standard golden doodle. He was well taken care of (full grooming service) in a couple of hours and came out looking happy and handsome. Customer service was polite, attentive, and joyful. We'll definitely come back.
