A shout out to the staff & volunteers. They are so pleasant and grateful. The store and clothes are really clean and organized. And what bargains they have! Also, they have a variety of other items. I always find something. I took my neighbor there today...she came out with a new wardrobe. Thank you all for your service.

After reading many reviews( and feedback); I agree that the employees are nice and some are moody. However, I am shocked at the thought of nice prices. Smaller thrift stores are not supposed to be higher than others in their area regardless of who they are supporting as most have a mission. They are not comparable to others in the area. Overpriced but nice inventory is what I have always experienced when stopping in. I hardly ever stop in to actually shop. Needless to say: the only time I can afford items is at the end of the month half price sale and the color of the week ( Goodwill doesn't have sales). It would be a shame for the customers who refuse or simply can not afford to pay for overpriced used items ( the poor) if they discountiuned this amazing blessing.

If you take items to this place you need to know that everything needs to be bagged or boxed, which was not communicated before we got there. Also once I told them I had a truck and a trailer coming the workers did not want the stuff. For a Christian organization to treat us like they didn’t want our stuff we reluctantly took it to Goodwill who happily took all of our stuff that was valued over $700. Won’t go here again or recommend them and I am from Effingham.

Just an updated review-- the employees are still a disgrace.

The store and merchandise are great... I find amazing deals on clothing for my kids, books, shoes, and random household odds and ends. I absolutely love the scheduled discount days and make it a point to watch the calendar! The staff is awful. Aside from one woman who carries herself like the owner (maybe?), the employees are the rudest I've encountered at any business in the area.

This store has amazing prices, AWESOME deals, and the friendliest staff! However they really need to get a dressing room. One incident shouldn’t be the reason they’re still inconveniencing customers 3 years later. It probably wouldnt happen again…
