My dogs Rosko and Daisy were in animal shelter twice in the past few months . They took good care of them . However Daisy got Kettle cough from it . If they come back they will be
euthanized. I’ll be moving in the morning out this town .

This is a KILL shelter. They want to charge a hefty fee to those wishing to adopt instead of freely surrendering the animals. They rather kill the animals instead of giving them the chance to be re-homed. What kind of greed is that? Shame on Dr. Anderson

This is not an "animal control" anymore. It is a shelter for dogs and cats. This is a very well managed shelter.
Strays can be brought. However, you MUST call the manager in the morning before bringing them any animals; they need information about the situation. Or, you need to stop by early to ask them if they will be able to accept the strays. Don't bring the animals until you first get permission. *Dropping off animals without the knowledge of the staff and without the management's permission is Against the Law.*
This is a good humane shelter organization. It is clean and the animals are well cared for.☺

If i could give this "Man" negative stars I absolutely would. The Vet, yes I said Vet as in Veterinarian, that runs this shelter, should have his license taken away. The animals have NO air conditioning in the summer and no heating in the winter. The building is an old dilapidated barn with nails and wires sticking out everywhere, rodents, roaches, spiders and it floods for every rain storm that comes through. The animals are without water, food and VET CARE!! often. I've seen animals sit with bones literally sticking out of their legs for a WEEK!!!!! SUFFERING with NO medical care or pain meds! This man is a poor representation of a human being, and "VETERANARIAN". The county should stop giving this man any money for acting as the county animal shelter and seriously send someone out to evaluate his facility and mental status!!!

This facility tries very hard to get a sponsor for each animal and then finds foster homes to care for them until they are adopted. It is a complete myth that this facility automatically puts down animals 3 days after they arrive. It is simply not true. If the animal can be healed and treated it will be fostered and adopted out.

* was recently told this is a kill shelter so I'm unsure now, best to ask when you visit * No kill shelter, clean, healthy animals, perfect place to adopt a new loving family member, got our dog Ruby from here shes the best! It is hard to get ahold of anyone, so best to just go to shelter when they are open.
