Not as many people as a normal Sweet potato Festival do to covid-19 but, I had a great time with the kids

The festival was not handicap accessible. People had grills, cars and other items blocking the sidewalk. There was no passing room and the handicap had to ride on the road in the dense traffic. I had my five and eight year old grandchildren on the road with me. While at the festival we were waiting for our food to be prepared and during that waiting time my 8-month-old granddaughter was stung by a red wasp. We could not find anyone to help us with any type of first aid. Even though we had these setbacks the vendors were very pleasant to deal with. It was nice having a little bit of variety for everyone in the family.

This use to be real fun back when all the bikers had their rally but something happened between the bikers and the city and they don't come like they use to but it's still a good festival with a parade plus vendors and a lot of food. This happens once a year and can be enjoyed by anyone. The streets are very busy during this so if you go watch yourself and your little ones, bikes, golf carts and vehicles are everywhere.

Not sure who titled this on Google Maps, but ok..... I was pleased that the parade was longer than last year, or so it seems. The food vendors and crafts were busy as usual. Overall it was nice. Only concern was not enough policing along the parade route to keep folks out of the road and obstructing others view.

Awesomesauce annual festival. About as redneck as you can get, as nothing beats sweet potatoes and live wrestling.
