The popcorn shrimp were hard as a rock. Same with the fried okra. Extremely disappointed. I ate here several years ago and the food was excellent. Replace the cook immediately. Sigh : /
(My wife had the country fried steak and said it was editable. )
The bread was the best part of the meal.

If you are in Ft Scott Ks and are hungry.. you gotta get over to AUNT TOADIES.i had the pork tenderloin sandwich with hand cut Suzy Q's. So delicious. Great portion size. I was greeted promptly upon entering and my server was awesome. They have plenty to choose from on the menu and have a section dedicated to smaller portions. Although I won't have room for it, they serve home made pies, cinnamon rolls and shakes. Loving it.

Two delicious hot dogs with hamburger, cheese, onions and tomato. Jim made them disappear like magic then finished up with his cottage cheese. My oriental salad was loaded with chicken, zucchini, tomatoes and chow mein noodles and a great ginger oriental salad dressing. Mmmm. The restaurant is comfortable and cool. There is a daily special. A great place to chow down and the bill was less than $20.

Great little country diner! Great food! Had the fried chicken special, with mashed potatoes and YUMMY gravy! And of course had to try Fried Okra! Reminded me a lot of my Arkansas Grandma's food! Perfect service, very nice waitress and young man, cook? Will be back! We will gladly make the drive from Linn Valley, KS! Will tell friends!

I ordered the fish dinner with a side salad and cottage cheese with a piece of coconut cream pie for dessert. The food was great, service was friendly and pleasant and the atmosphere comfortable. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now. I pass it everyday on my way home from work; I'm so glad I finally stopped in. I can see myself becoming a regular.

My sister and I had the best time at this restaurant. The fried pickles are to die for , they were so good and you get a lot it’s not a little single serving , it’s a table share. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was really good. the coleslaw was excellent. The mashed potatoes and gravy was really good and my sister loved the fries And her chicken fried sandwich which was a tenderloin ha ha ha service was excellent. It was a late Sunday afternoon, When we went by the restaurant about 11 o’clock on Sunday morning, it was busy really so we knew it had to be good. And it did not disappoint. The decor of the building was very nice very clean , service was excellent. Couldn’t say enough good things about the service and the food was great. Try the coconut cream pie

I bought plastered chicken. My chicken is burnt on one end. I have gone to Aunt Toadies once before and had the same thing, it was amazing. Tonight, I ordered take out and the chicken is burnt.
