I saw Is God Is here and it was great. This theatre is nice and intimate.

All the "segregation" comments here are because some non-black people decided to go to NAC blackout nights which are meant to be for black theatre goers. (especially during black history month). It is not racist at all, they just didn't read what they were going to and picked the wrong date.

I also saw The Little Red Warrior and His Lawyer here, equally great! Very funny and great atmosphere.

Such a lovely venue for a concert! We had amazing seats and it seemed that ever seat was a great one!

Great show but, no lights on the floor to find seat. And customer service was not great. A lot of stairs and spacious in balcony, but not enough to have washrooms up there. Seats are not overly comfortable. The railing blocked the view of the stage with the seat we had. Actually someone was sitting in one of our seats so we have ro sit where the railing blocked the view.

Don't even get me started on parking. It is not marked well enough and because of it we walked longer than we needed to which caused us to be late to the show cause we were trying to figure out where to do. They people scanning tickets yelled to us to run and hurry cause the show had started. Which was not welcoming.

Just saw Seth Meyers and we laughed through the entire performance! Theatre was cozy and all the seats would be great I would think. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Agree with the other comments. This theater is running a show that is openly racially segregated. When I called out the production company on Facebook they deleted my comment and blocked me. What a bunch of cowards. I though that we were striving for inclusion but this theater and production only seek to exclude, and anyone questioning their motives is promptly silenced.

We were excited to revisit the BAT again this year during our stay in Ottawa, but unfortunately my SO has the wrong skin color to attend the "Is God Is" production the day we'll be there. I don't want to go without her, and since our kiddos are half good skin color and half bad skin color (according to BAT) I'm not sure if they would be allowed to attend. Maybe they could stay for half the show, lol? Anyway, it's sad that the arts are now being withheld from people based on skin color. Since I'm against racism, segregation, and bigotry, obviously I'll never attend a production there again.

Went for an orchestra. Staff were nice and helpful. They made the place easy to navigate and the theatre was clean.
