What a wonderful surprise this establishment is! A team of volunteers runs this operation and it is evident they love what they do. With the newly added concession stand serving up a very affordable $5. hot dog meal and other options it was a great way to spend our Sunday afternoon. Today's theatre was called "Christmas Belles" and the cast was a delight! We understand there was some apprehension with all the set changes needed but all members pitched in and it made for smooth transitions. It was a 2.5 hour play with intermission set in a old brick building that has men's and women's facilities available during the break. The chairs were very comfortable and as the majority of the audience was elderly, homemade blankets were on hand if you get a chill. If you're looking for small town entertainment, this is a great find in Grand Cane!

Wonderful live productions put on by great acting troopes assembled and very well done for a small theater. The actors & actresses they find for unique shows they pick out are creative, funny, entertaining and great for family nights with old small town country feel in the remodeled historical Grand Cane downtown building. Don't miss their always $10 shows - 2 to 3 hours guaranteed to please and cause smiles of joy. Advice - reserve seats ahead as most shows are sold out with limited seating for about 75 people max.

It's in Grand Cane. One blinking traffic light. No grocery. No dry cleaners. No fast food. No pizza. But we have a great and active community theater, and a young people's group called Dramaniacs, in a beautiful historic building. Look us up under Village of Grand Cane. Then come have fun with us!

The children's play was fantastic! They all new their cues and lines. The grinch and Linus especially stood out with their parts of the play. Cudos to all!!!
