There is no better place to go for live comedy and music. The bartender/owner Tommy, pours the best of wines and makes the best sangrias!
We come every Sunday at 2 to enjoy the sangrias and comedy. It feels like home here.

Barrel Proof Lounge is a fun friendly place. The staff is quite friendly. The venue has different spaces to hang out and is quite comfortable. They offer various forms of entertainment weekly, often with no cover charge (drink up and tip nicely). This place is such a great asset to the community, I hope more people will visit.

My life has utterly transformed since discovering this place on Father's Day 2023; it was the perfect place to bring my grown daughter for our first dad-free Father's Day. We came for Sunday Funday free comedy and stayed through trivia. To my utter surprise and delight, Myq Kaplan performed a set. For free! I first saw Myq Kaplan on Last Comic Standing ages ago, and he's one of my favorites whenever he pops up on the comedy station on satellite radio. And there he was! So many amazing comics drift through this place, both for the featured shows in the theater and as open mic drop-ins. You never know who you'll get, but it's 100% been amazing every time.

This place feels like home now. Talk about going somewhere where everybody knows your name! It feels like a community center; there's a bit of a sense of ownership among all the comics and friends and family that show up. In fact I feel like I own the place. Casey might disagree with me, but bring it on, buddy!

I'm so grateful to have discovered this place. It has completely transformed my life. I mean like night and day. Being part of this community, making the dearest friends I could have, and getting up on stage for the first time in my life at an open mic, I'm a different and better person because of Barrel Proof Lounge.

We had a fantastic night in Santa Rosa. Hilarious local comedy show that you do not want to miss. Great for date night, girls night, or bored at home alone. Nightlife is hard to find here, so check it out and enjoy! You’re welcome.

Barrel Proof Lounge is a great place to perform and watch Standup Comedy. Casey Williams runs a fun venue with a variety of rooms, and the staff, including Bartender Andre and “Bar Mom” Sue, do a fantastic job serving drinks. I highly recommend Barrel Proof Lounge!

I used to go to this location when it was 505 Mendocino back in the early 2000’s. I absorlueky LOVE what they have done with the place. Drinks were good, ran into some old friends and damn near busted a gut at the “standing room only” comedy show! Highly recommend!!

GREAT Venue! Saw a top notch band “the strangers” last nite. Guy at the door was one cool cat. Door fee was a bit high but I have a feeling it keeps the riff raff out so I’ll gladly pay it ?

Barrel Proof Lounge never disappoints for a great comedy show. Went to see #JoeHill and friends. What great comedians and great ambience. Staff is on point and always kept our drinks full!
