Hermoso y cálido teatro, muy cómodo muy limpio y la atención del personal de lujo. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver la obra White Chrismas muy bonita. El el looby hay una tienda de recuerdos y una pequeña cafetería. Lo más bonito el edificio.

Saw the Christmas Carol there the other day and it was fantastic! Not the most amazing production of it I've ever seen but definitely really good! I wanna go back in early August to see what they do with the Wizard of Oz
Definitely recommend getting tickets well in advance which for two tickets it was roughly $70-ish so not bad. Much cheaper than anything being performed in Knoxville

I’m not the biggest of theatre buffs but I’ve probably seen 75+ shows at every level from high school to Broadway. So I’ve gotten around a bit.

The productions at Barter are the best of any small community theatre I’ve seen. I have only seen holiday shows (8 or so in the last ten years). I’m from out of town. But each show has been well done, tight, and enjoyable.

The theater itself is comfy and clean. The staff is always kind and helpful. I’ve sat in the balcony and on the floor and while I do prefer the floor, the balcony isn’t bad.

We will continue our family tradition of going each year either at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I wish I could give more than five stars cause that is the type of experience we had. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out everyone was inviting. My son had a Mario shirt on and the lady who walked us to our seats just chatted him up (he is 4 by the way) and my daughter had a jump suit on and she didn’t same to her. The show we watched was The Christmas Carol (which is one of my favorite movies haha) and let me tell you they done an amazing job at it. Sean as the ghost of Christmas present was hilarious and just the overall singing was top notch. We are planning on going back to the Santa Claus show in a few weeks. Thanks for a great time.

You can’t go wrong with Barter Theatre. I’ve seen many productions there and they are all wonderful. I’ve never seen a show I didn’t enjoy. The most recent show was A Christmas Carol and it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to go at Christmas time again!

What a beautiful venue! This well preserved hall is worth the trip to Abingdon. The lobby and theater have stunning detail that you find in few concert halls. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We saw "The Play That Goes Wrong" and the cast and crew was very talented and professional. The entire town made for a great visit, so we hope to return and catch another show soon.
