Not too sure why these got one-star reviews. These people were awesome and truly care for their animals. They went out of their way to ensure Sunny was going to a good home and you can tell she was well loved before we adopted her. Highly recommend them!

Revisiting and moving from 5 Star to 1 Star:

The dog shown in the picture is Sunny who we adopted downtown and the process went great. However, she was attempting to attack our other animals, we even had a trainer come out that was paid for but them but even he couldn’t assist.

We got to meet Jack and immediately fell in love with him. He’s a sweet dog and was all of the attention, literally all. To the point where our child was injured recently due to him inserting himself between us and our son. I contacted the owner and informed them of two issues; Jack is breaking into our chicken coops (chickens get out) and he injured our son. The response from the owner since then has been extremely disheartening since we had such a great experience during the adoption process. Not once did the owner ask if our son was okay and continued to be rude through texts and only focus on the chicken issue. She then proceeded to make a FB post stating the return of Jack and how as owners “we couldn’t figure it out” with the chickens, once again leaving out the child issue.

They make you sign a contract stating that if you surrender your pet it will be back to them. I have no issue with that and actually agree with it (though I forgot). No where in the contract does it state that they will disrespect your family on social media and act in an immature manner through texts.

If you adopt from them, which I don’t recommend, then be aware that for ANY reason you have to return the animal, prepare for how they act.

As a side note, we have adopted 5 animals who are all loved greatly and we understand the adjustment process for a new animal. However, when it comes to my children, not the chickens, I have to make a decision that’s best for my family.

These folks are literal angels on earth. They work endless hours to save as many precious pups as they can from our local animal control that too frequently kills for space. Thank you Bogey’s Buddies for caring and doing all that you can for Bartow County.

I would not recommend this place. Please get you pets from a shelter. This person works out of their home. The handler/ director is very rude and inconsiderate. She has lied to not just me but the public as well. Has had texts threads with me back and forth lying about me. Slandering my name and defamation of my character. She handled the situation very unprofessionally and immaturely.
