No frills, but has the essentials and a great, small, intimate experience. Saw "What the Constitution Means to Me." Loved it!! I consider myself fairly up on current events, but this performance helped me understand our history in ways that make sense. I'm tall, so would suggest front row or rows with a break in front of them (G, for example) if you are, too. Small enough that there isn't a bad seat in the house.

This theater is a lovely place to spend an evening or
Saturday afternoon. Every play or performance has been a delight and you don't have to take out a loan to go see a performance. Lauren Weedman was a real delight! Keep on rockin' BCT!

Exceptional quality theater time and time again. Shows are heartfelt, thought-provoking, and have brought me to both laughter and tears. Can't wait to see 'Tiny Beautiful Things' this week!
In addition to the main stage shows, I've been so impressed with the education programs and community outreach! The Theater Lab students have so much heart - it is incredible to see what they can do when given their own platform.

This theater is absolutely fantastic. Every show is phenomenally done, with great actors, an intimate setting, and near other great food and drink options in downtown Boise. Cannot recommend enough.
**only caveat- not every play is appropriate for all ages. Be sure to check before taking children to a play. There’s always at least one play per season that’s family-friendly.

Recently saw The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at Boise Contemporary Theater. What an incredibly fabulous performance! I attended with my friend who uses a wheelchair and we had wonderful seats for this very well done performance. While the lobby for this venue can get very crowded at times, I have always been impressed with the quality of the productions here.

I'm sorry to say I've never attended a production here, but my son has taken part in the Theater classes offered to young kids - what a magnificent program, especially in the winter. Awesome price for roughly 2 or so months of Saturday AM classes that encourage children to build confidence and get some wiggles out. The teachers are fun, the activities are engaging, and my little guy has a blast.

The theatre is great, small, up close! The acting is very good, professional, passionate and talented. I've been to several and have thoroughly enjoyed!
