A wonderful clinic, not trying to money grab for any appointments whatever the circumstances may be. Very kind doctor and nurses here who are transparent about their procedures/plans and explain all of the affordable options available. Will only start coming to this clinic for our kitties from now on forward!

We switched vets after we moved to the area and have loved our experiences with Dr. Slyter. He is always patient and answers our questions thoroughly. It’s been 8 years since we’ve had a new puppy so we’ve had our fair share of questions! The ladies up front are always so friendly and personable, and the prices here are very fair compared to a lot of other vets in the KC/JOCO areas. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new vet!

One star for desk staffing . I've changed to Bethel animal hospital they are compassionate and gentle with my dog and cat. Dr slater has no compassion for smaller dogs. My dog is a chihuahua and as all chihuahuas are nervous. He said I shouldn't treat my dog as if it's a little human and she would behave better .He wouldn't allow me in the room to get her toenails cut, she screened and cried with the door closed even his staff looked concerned. When I got her back her eyes were red rimmed and bulging some. She was shaking bad. Never again will my Pets go back there.

I'm always impressed with the care my dog gets when we go in. The ladies at the front desk are spectacular and Dr. Slyter is the best vet I've ever had. My dog went into renal failure after her ear hematoma surgery and he got her in IV fluid therapy immediately. She's still on the mend but he saved her life. I'll never go to another vet.

The ladies at the front desk are always helpful. Dr. Slyter threw my cat Angel on the couch when giving first injection for euthanasia. I tried to comfort Angel and Dr. Slyter said, "I think more help is not needed". After injecting Angel, Dr. Slyter let her go and Angel scared of him ran the best she could up the couch and fell over the couch. Dr. Slater left the room while this happened not caring about his behavior. I moved the couch to get Angel and she couldn't move at this time. He later came back for second injection. I will NEVER return to this Veterinarian and I'll report him in reference to his license being taken away. UNACCEPTABLE VETERINARIAN BEHAVIOR!

After bringing my dogs to this vet regularly for 7+ years, I took my 15 year old dog here for evaluation when I was concerned about his breathing after having a seizure. When I asked if there was any way to check his oxygen levels, he mocked “why? so you can send him around with a doggy oxygen tank?”. I felt blown off and disregarded but trusted his professional opinion when he didn’t seem concerned. He sent me home with meds and performed blood panel, but then said he wouldn’t have results back for days. He told me the next steps would be X-rays, but said he didn’t have time to do them that day. There was no sense of urgency. My sweet Cooper stopped breathing at home a few hours later. I had to follow up even to get the results of the blood test. I feel this vet lacks true compassion and care.
