I only wish that I could visit this venue for a live event, but the tour was wonderful. We were trying to do both the theatre and the P.O.W. museum on the same afternoon, and our guide was gracious enough to come in 30 minutes early so that we could do both. I had no idea there was such a beautiful theatre in North Kansas, and the history of how it came to be, and how it has continued to be is a testament to the community of Concordia. This place is absolutely beautiful! If you're one that enjoys history, theatre and a bit of the paranormal this is the place for you. Went there for an overnight ghost hunt. Jim was a maintenance worker there, did not pass there but his love for the place remains today as he is still very much hanging out at the theatre watching over the place. I would love to go back for another investigation or even to see an evening play.

The Brown Grand is a historical gem located in Concordia Kansas. It has been thoughtfully, and meticulously restored and every year, another state of the art improvement is added. Not only are they working to bring known performances to the community and North Central Kansas, they are providing opportunities for youth to be exposed, nurtured, and to develop their interest in the multilayered components of performance art. It is a fabulous resource for rural Kansas.

A beautiful theater, painstakingly restored. I went to a play there and noticed that wherever someone stepped hard, the floor shook. Even though the restorers did their best to keep every aspect of the theater as close to original as possible, I'm wondering if they should have reinforced or replaced the floors. I look forward to attending another live performance and I'll try to find a more stable place to sit.

We were privileged to enjoy a free Army band concert. They were spectacular and the theatre was a perfect setting. The theatre has been remodeled in the 80s and has kept its older world charm.

It is a really nice theature. I've heard it's historic and it's in amazing condition. It's so pretty and there are other levels you can sit on. I would definitely go here again.

Went to see Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland. Worst play I’ve ever seen, made worse by the freezing temperatures inside the theater. Best/ only enjoyable part of the entire play was the beautiful costumes and the beautiful song at the end. Waste of $20
