We had an absolutely magical time with Buckaroos Horse-Drawn Rides! From the moment we arrived, the staff’s kindness and warmth made us feel so welcome. The Santa sleigh ride was truly enchanting—our kids were thrilled to meet Santa, sit on his lap, and enjoy delicious hot chocolate and cookies. Every detail of the event was so thoughtfully planned, and the joy on our children’s faces was priceless.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and their enthusiasm made the experience even more special. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories we made and can’t wait to come back for another ride. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a festive and family-friendly holiday event!

We had a private ride tonight with Buck (and Jake & Roger)! It was amazing!!! Buck is so knowledgeable and took time to teach my husband how to lasso, and was just such a fun guy! We definitely plan on visiting for a sleigh ride in the winter, but definitely recommend going any time of year!

We were visiting town for the weekend with friends and thought this would be a fun activity with our little ones and it did not disappoint!

The ranch is absolutely gorgeous with scenic backgrounds, rolling hills and thick forests, perfect for photography.

The horses are very well cared for and the grounds are very clean and tidy. Much more so than my tack room!

Prepare yourself for some very corny dad jokes from Buck mixed in with fun facts about the area while riding along in a surprisingly comfortable open air wagon.

The dinner area is cozy with plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy. My son personally enjoyed chasing the ranch dogs. Keep an eye on the small white one, he’s a sneak and will happily steal a hot dog!

I unfortunately forgot our guitarist name but she played wonderfully the entire time we were there and was happy to take requests as well.

Overall this was one of the highlights of the trip and I am so surprised as how much fun it was. I highly recommend!

We booked a wagon ride and Buckaroos delivered!!! Olivia's kindness was beyond measure and her knowledge of the area made the ride so enjoyable. We were treated with a mini riding session for my niece and I can guarantee a core memory was made. We are so grateful for our short time at Buckaroos and can't wait to come back with our family. Huge thanks to the staff and sweetest horses!

We did the horse drawn carriage ride with our family of 4 yesterday and it was such a beautiful experience. Andrew (Buck) was an awesome host and great tour guide. His hospitality and charm made the experience excellent. My kids loved every moment of this: petting the majestic horses (Barb and Sue), seeing wildlife in the woods, lassoing, but our favorite was the campfire s'mores with Carl's fun guitar music in the background. A close to nature, simple and fun family experience. I 100% recommend if you are visiting Pagosa Springs.

We absolutely loved our summer wagon ride! Buck and Emily were our hosts and they were so informative about the area and kept us relaxed and entertained the entire time. These people care deeply about their horses, and it shows! Purchasing tickets and completing the waivers was very easy to do. We had two toddlers in our group and they had the best time cooking up hotdogs and s’mores, petting the horses, and running around. We adults got to relax with live music in a beautiful and peaceful setting. This is such a great find if you’re near Pagosa Springs, a must do!

Very fun and beautiful views! The horses were beautiful and had wonderful personalities. Clearly well cared for and loved! We were lucky and were able to have the cart all to ourselves. Buck was very knowledgeable about the sights and the area as well as very personable and friendly. The winter evening ride was beautiful and we would love to come back for the summer ride if we can!

Our family of 15 had such a great time at Buckaroos the night before Thanksgiving. There was light snow on the ground so Buck couldn’t use the sleigh, but our wagon ride was magical. Buck provided warm blankets and hot drinks for the cold night ride and lots of humor and details about the CO mountains. We rode thru’ lighted trees singing Christmas carols, making a very special Thanksgiving ‘24 family memory!
