We have been using Buckner Animal Clinic for over a year now. We took our 1 year old pup to get spayed. Not only were the staff kind and courteous. They were knowledgeable and made sure to tell us how to best care for our pup post surgery. The best part of all. They are fairly priced! We've been to other vets in the past and it always seemed overpriced. We love the Buckner Animal Clinc! Keep up the good work!

Dr Shipman is excellent ! He really cares about the furbabies and I wouldn’t ever take my babies to any other vet. The staff is very nice and helpful and Dr Shipman is very also . I highly recommend Buckner Animal clinic for your veterinary needs Dr Shipman is so gentle and loving with our furbabies and he really cares ❤️ he done an excellent job spaying them and is so compassionate about the furbabies that come to him !

Dr Shipman is a good vet but the new vet he just hired is INEXPERIENCED and murdered my dog. We went in for shots and he left in a box as ashes.
Charlie was having slight difficulty breathing and they put us in a room with no air, no ventilation, it was so hot. We waited forever and when she finally came in she wanted to do an x-ray. I said okay.
She gave him sedation without my permission and it exasperated his condition. I told her he was delicate. I told her could do with an Albuterol treatment. Who gives sedation to an animal already having difficulty breathing? Someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
After waiting for hours wondering why it was taking so long to do an x-ray she rushed me out the door with a semi conscious dog who couldn't walk, didn't respond and had to be carried to the car. He walked in there. She told me to go to an emergency vet to get him some oxygen.
He never snapped out of it. I had to go back and have Shipman put him down because he suffered for HOURS! Shipman even agreed what she did exacerbated his symptoms.
NO APOLOGY. NO I EFFED UP. NOTHING. PAY ME MY MONEY. PAY ME FOR HAVING TO PUT HIM DOWN WHEN ITS THEIR FAULT. I DIDN'T EVEN GET THE RESULTS OF HIS X-RAY AND I HAD TO PAY FOR IT. They should have covered the bill because they are the reason he suffered. THEY ARE THE REASON HE DIED.
I had my baby for 14 years he was my everything. IF LOVED COULD HAVE SAVED YOU CHARLIE YOU WOULD HAVE LIVED FOREVER, MOMMA LOVES YOU BABY.

The best part about having dogs is that they really are part of your family.
Dr. Shipman and his staff go above and beyond. Whether it is having a new fur baby checked out or saying our final goodbyes to an older animal, the care and concern has always been excellent.

I recently took my dog for her yearly vaccinations to Dr. Shipman. He and his staff were very compassionate and caring about my dog. She was nervous but soon calmed down with the gentle manner Dr. Shipman had with her. By the end of the visit when he returned with her results, she didn't even bark at him. I highly recommend Dr. Shipman.

Dr. Shipman best veterinarian I have found in a long time. Really takes care of my dogs needs. Staff is very professional and friendly. Always tries to make room for me and my three girls. Would highly recommend Buckner animal clinic if you really care about your animals because they do.

Recently moved to the area and chose Buckner for the care of our four dogs. Since moving, we sadly had to put one of our babies down. The amount of love, care, and respect show during this process was astonishing and my family is extremely grateful.

Having taken one of our other boys for a regular checkup, we were further impressed with the thoroughness of the exam. Especially thankful to them for taking the time to explain everything to us, so that we understand what is going on and what our options are for treatments.

Highly recommended if you are in search of a vet for your babies.

I've moved a lot, finding a vet I can trust is always a challenge. I thought this was the place, but after missing a urinary infection in my parents dog I became much more critical. After a few more visits I find myself wondering if I need a second opinion on everything.

They are very focused on cost, and quite frankly very inexpensive. A visit with the doctor here is half the cost of the vet I left when I moved to Kentucky.

Give the place a shot, a lot of people are very happy here. Just because it hasn't worked for me doesn't mean it's not the place for you.
