I brought my 11-yo PRE home last night after a couple weeks of making trips and long-distance arrangements with Jesus and Jesse at CJH. My experience was 5-star and I'm of an opinion that they both want what's best for their sale horses. I was given honest information on this horse and an honest assessment of the type of life he'd thrive in.
My horse is a late-cut gelding (3 months out) and his ground manners were respectful and willing. Honestly ... better than most horses. Neither of the two males I handled were mouthy or pushy (and I think it best to discourage a lot of uninvited exploration on his part to keep that good behavior). Loads, bath, clips, stands quietly. No-fuss traveler and settled right in. He is healthy and sound, I opted for the navicular series of images on his PPE and his joints are remarkable.
Dressage prospects: Some of the horses are previously danced. The two horses I rode seem to be regularly exercised with a basic, relaxed w/t/c, which put months between that former life and the one I'd like to begin. They are still in the hand when asked. I was looking for a Classical/Baroque/Academic dressage, W.E. and fun pleasure horse and I anticipate getting that with this gelding. The restarting process will be easier for him, physically and mentally now that there has been that gap of time for him. If I wanted to do modern dressage I don't think their would be any issues.
Anticipate Andalusian intelligence. The two horses I rode were willing, alert and use their brains. I was told they were friendly/gentle, and they were. They were very well behave undersaddle and forgiving of my attempts to find their buttons.
In closing, I do recommend CJH. I recently suggested them to a friend who is now trying one of their stallions.
