The Cameo Theater runs a tight ship. Opening and closing times are strictly enforced. The no parking zone is also strictly enforced.

The theater is very clean and neat. The feel is very historic and has a fancy old time feel to it. There are several exhibits of classic movies and an old-time projector or two on display.

The seating is moderately comfortable. The climate control can be challenging at times. I recommend bringing a jacket.

The lighting is very low. Be sure to watch your step as the guard rails seem to serve as more of a decoration.

We watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The feeling of the theater added to the fun of watching the movies in my opinion.

A Newberg classic. Sure it's not super fancy, but it's full of history. Expect squeaky chairs, but you'll leave with great memories of those chairs. I try to take my kids whenever possible, and they absolutely love it. I just went to see the new Despicable Me 4 movie, and I could have driven further to Hillsboro or McMinnville, and end up paying more to see it on higher definition screen, maybe better sound, but the local charm and appeal of this little theater keeps us coming back. Friendly staff is nice too. Oh and upstairs you'll find an old projector on display, classic movie posters and some Newberg memorabilia. Fun!

Nostalgia of simpler times, this place was established back in 1937 and has maintained some the same charm for close to a century. The prices were what I remember growing up, including the concessions, 6 dollars for a large popcorn with the flavoring of your liking is unheard of anywhere else. Overall, great experience. One of the many landmarks that make Newberg so lovable.

One of the last single screen movie house's left.
Go.. they still offer a 1 dollar popcorn.

It gets an extra star just for service. Friendly staff attention to detail. No rush. Good values even at the snack bar. Skip the fancy place for an additional $10 per person. You can almost go to three movies here for the price other theaters are charging. They change up the movie almost weekly unless something is selling well then they keep it going. Not a lot special on the inside. They are restoring and in the middle of that project. So it has it challenges if you are late or it is really crowded and you can end up with a bad seat. Meaning am older seat that is not as comfortable. Great value expect kids with families and those without.

Fun, historic theater! Lots of good snack options at reasonable prices. Walk around a bit and look at some of the historic items and posters.

Old school place and vibe from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Prices are the best ANYWHERE, and we felt at home while viewing. If your looking for an updated towny flawless place this isn't it. This is a nostalgic hometown wholesome don't rip you off theater. Just the way we like it!
The 3 of us were able to see an awesome movie (Jesus revolution) a large popcorn 2 waters and a large soda for $30. Yeah... $30. This is definitely our go to place from now on!
