I contacted Cavallo Riding Center in April to host my daughter’s Quinceañera. We needed a larger space with a rustic feel that also had a touch of elegance. The owner, Dave, walked us through the area where we would be hosting the party, which featured two stunning chandeliers and string lights throughout. There was plenty of parking, two bathrooms (one he built himself, right down to the toilet paper holder!), a bar, and tables and chairs included. I already thought this was a steal, but what Dave offered was even more valuable: a welcoming space for our family and friends to gather, celebrate, and enjoy this special occasion.

I had arranged for our party decor to be delivered on Friday and picked up on Monday, but I hadn’t communicated that to Dave. When I mentioned the plans during the week of the party, there was a conflict with the drop-off. Instead of letting me worry, he went out of his way to drive to the party warehouse to ensure everything went smoothly.

On the morning of the event, Dave was already hard at work, having set up the tables and chairs for us. The barn was clean, prepared, and ready to go.
We had a special surprise for our daughter’s grand entrance that included a horse. Dave made sure it went off without a hitch by coordinating with the owners to guide them in through the back, ensuring no one would see them.

Dave was helpful, reliable, and a true gentleman. Throughout the evening, whenever we forgot something or needed extras, he was right there to lend a hand—providing extra ice chests, a knife to cut limes, a pitcher for the Palomas, and extra forks for the cake, just to name a few.

Dave truly went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. It was a memorable event! Thank you for your help and support, Dave!

My son has been coming to Cavallo horse riding for lessons for over a year now. The owner Dave is very nice and friendly. My son also has a wonderful experience with the horse instructor Heidi and looks forward to riding horses every single time. Heidi is very knowledgeable with her horses and all the horses are well behaved. I can tell that all the horses are taken care of here and very well loved. The facility is big and nice with lots of places to go for walks and ride with the horses. If you have more than one person riding, Heidi usually have aide to help. Your kids will also be well protected with helmets provided. This place is a real gem in Tracy! I highly recommend everyone to come here for lessons! ?

Amazing location, the ranch has excellent facilities for horse riders and you can also book for private events starting 425$ for 4 hours

Heidi is a great instructor. She was professional and fun. My son had a great time with his first lesson and can’t wait to go back. Horses are well cared for and nice. Highly recommend Cavallo Riding Center.

I just want to share that I read through the reviews, and for the 1 star poor review I can say I board my Arab at an outstanding facility that has some flooding concerns as well that can’t be helped. The bathroom in the picture looks pretty nice for a ranch with many people using it- even nicely painted and extra tissue. Just some messy folks leaving stuff on floor is what it looks like. And as far as the messy tack room... isn’t that the boarders that are leaving it like that?
Just sayin.
I have seen these stables and the place was overall a great place!

I like it being close into town and close to my home. It’s got lots of room, the round pens are big and allow less problems having to wait for availability of space to let my horse get some exercise in. It’s got a lot of shady spots. And lots of stalls

My only and biggest issue is the fact that tack/ grooming tack goes missing. The kids grab whatever and leave it about. First week there my nice lead rope and halter went missing. Never found it. Then my horses bucket with his name on the brushes, fly spray etc got moved. Fly spray was out could tell it got used, and my brush was missing from the bucket. Later found it in the bathing stalls.

When mentioned to the owner my concerns and being told it’s just kids being kids and they sometimes grab things as if it’s acceptable is not acceptable to me. My children know not to touch something that isn’t theirs. The nonchalant attitude that it wasn’t a big deal when it comes to things I’ve paid for going missing without permission, doesn’t sit right with me. Children need to either be supervised or abide by rules and have respect for other peoples things. It’s not okay and it’s not something to condone.
