I love CCAPS so much. It's one of the best places to volunteer in Magnolia! I love spending time with the sweet kittens there. The dogs are all precious, too, and love new company.

My best furry friend and I met here. We moved out of town and my little Magnolia (Maggie) will always remind me of Arkansas and this fabulous shelter and the caring staff.

Be sure to call before loading up your pet. Sometimes they are overloaded with animals. You might try Facebook to get their pictures out there, I did with my puppies. Usually they can help. There are some really good folks working at CCAPS. GOD BLESS, & HAPPY HOLIDAYS. PEACE

This is not a no-kill animal shelter.. otherwise the staff were quite knowledgeable, polite, and caring people that seem to genuinely care about the animals.

This place makes me cry. They have so many animals there and while they do take care of them extremely well they are always so overcrowded and forced to take on far more animals than they have room for, mostly due to the irresponsibility of people in the area when it comes to watching and fixing their animals. The people who work and volunteer here are godsends. and if you ever need a fur baby, I would highly recommend taking a look around at CCAPS, just be aware that this is all volunteer based and so it may take a little time to get in contact with them, also, it is so helpful to bring even one bag of food or some cheap blankets for those poor babies.
