What a nice open space for people and their pooches. I enjoyed relaxing in the shade and feeling the whooshing breeze whilst watching the people come and go all morning.

The humans I met and observed were especially friendly, and all dogs were so happy to come and play.

There's a large enclosed area for the dogs, a also an open lawn at least as big as a football field. And the whole area is surrounded by a paved track; someone told me three times around equals one mile. Real restrooms (open Dawn-to-Dusk) and fresh water for the dogs were an added bonus.

It was a very nice stopover.

Beautiful, fun dog park! I’ve only come across fun, friendly dogs and equally as delightful “dog parents” I would have given 5 stars, but the only shade available is from trees that line the fringes of the park. I feel that the park would be vastly improved by some trees or structures that provide shelter. But, all in all, a spectacular place for all!

Dogs off leash as well as on leash okay. Fenced area is suitable and has water supply for pots. Large park and river bank for walking dogs.

Thank you to the neighborhood for being friendly to RVs and travelers who need to stop for the night in this lot. I am in my fifties and just discovered tonight that I can no longer drive at night in the rain 😂😂 I was scaring myself and annoying other drivers.

Saw this spot mentioned on an rv app and arrived just as it started to hail! I have never been so happy to arrive at a safe haven. I normally would not park right across from single family homes, because I know you don’t know me!. It is tough to remain friendly to outsiders passing through when drugs (and therefore unpredictable behavior) have become so rampant.

I appreciate this town so much. I will grab breakfast and some supplies in the morning to support local shops. Thank you. Really.

Being from the desert, this was the first place with grass that Desert Dog had experienced. I think she enjoyed it. 😉 Thank you to the powers that be for making a little fenced area.

I really liked this park, the little agility toys are fun for the dogs in training. Maybe not necessarily a big dog exercise but a medium to small dog, sure.

Nice penned area. A lot of people let there dogs go free unleashed. I don't have a problem with that but there is one lady in a silver car that has a dog that is aggressive with all the other dogs. I told her it needs to be on a leash and she says her dog is alright. Three others asked me if it was my dog when theirs were being harassed. I told her you have been warned. Other than her, it's a five star. Oh and pick up after your dog lady.

Overall impressions? Dirty, sketchy, and unpleasant. As a new visitor to this dog park, we were unaware that the park is unfenced. There’s one fenced area for smaller dogs. As soon as we drove into the parking lot, we had a dog running up to the car, before we could even get out and get our dog out. Then, as we tried to get to the fenced area, we had to deal with dogs running up to us and mauling us. Their humans didn’t seem to care that we didn’t want their dog jumping on us. The dog also started to get aggressive with ours, and the human didn’t help. We turned ourselves around and left as soon as we could. If you are heading north and need a place to run your dog, go to the dog park in Florence. It is lovely, it’s fenced, and the people are quality. This place is rubbish.
