Amy Rushing is the most rude and unprofessional, uncaring, employee I’ve ever spoke to. Her last name suits her well because she was RUSHING me off the phone, talking over me every time I had a question, and her frustration irked me. Lady get another job if you don’t like working with people. We live in a constitution that is FOR THE PEOPLE. Incredibly unprofessional and horrific experience every time I call in.

My Mother got divorced today and her judge was the rudest and most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered in that position. This was not an easy thing for her to do and I’m so disappointed in this judge and the way he treated her and others in the courtroom. Do better!

Went here for drug court about 5 years ago over a casual marijuana charge after being friendly and cooperating with a drug force who inserted themselves into my house claiming to be looking for the real bad drugs like heroin and what not. Good that they are trying to get the bad people with that stuff, but as someone who had only smoked marijuana as a typical high schooler, rather unfair to arrest myself and my parents to try and juice us for every penny they could since they had come up short on looking for the bad guy and found a harmless high school pothead! On a first offense, $10,000 to the court and 172 drug tests later, I was officially free from their program with a clean record, zero sanctions/infractions despite being in a program created to dig people deeper into the system with all the hoops you must go through. Quite obvious that the county is a bit desperate for money!

I'm very familiar with this courthouse as for that 18 month tenure in the program (initially treated as 12 but they find any way to extend your time in the program as for every month in the program you pay more), we would come here about 2 times a month for random testing when the other testing locations weren't available and also for monthly appearances before the judge. Judge Kell was a standup guy who meant well. Props to him for being a good man, if not for him this would have been a 1 star review. There was another old bitter lady that would sometimes fill in for him as the judge without having any comprehension of the program but I never gave her any issues so I never felt her wrath. She was notorious for having sent more people to jail than anyone else in the state! Very fun.

But most importantly... I kid you not, almost every time I was here, there was the most obese police officer I've ever seen in my life in this courthouse. Clean shaven, short hair, and larger than any picture of an overweight cop to have circulated on social media. Maybe 5'8 and 400lbs without muscular arms. Belly hanging down to right above the knees. Probably why they kept him at the courthouse. I understand that it only takes 2-3 months to become an officer (as ridiculous as that sounds) but at least keep them in shape. They are supposed to be serving as examples for the community, or at least serving as someone that can be taken seriously.

Judge Julie Adams Jacobs was on her phone the whole time, while we were presenting our case. She didnt care! I would love to talk to her and ask her why is she a judge if she is not happy doing it. Life is too short to be doing something just for money.... Her decision on the divorce decree didnt have many of my simple request, like giving my last name back. I actually had to request an amendment to fix her mistake. Just waste of time and money...

Most highly incompetent group of people I have ever dealt with. Fulton, Gwinnett and Dekalb have their act together but these clowns are good at losing documents and getting your cases lost in the system.

The two ladies handling the notary public's office were extremely rude when I went in to submit my notary public application. They refused to take my notary application and told me my notarized documents were invalid. It seemed to be discriminatory due to my age. Notary publics are supposed to handle their business with the utmost trust and impartiality and that is not the treatment I received when I visited. I know I was not the first person to receive this treatment and I certainly will not be the last.

I have been dealing with the Clerks office for the last 3 months getting an issue resolved that happened 32 years ago. Heather McDonald was a god send. She is one of the most polite and helpful people I have ever known. I could not have made it through this without her help. She stayed on my case until it was resolved yesterday. Heather I cannot say enough to show you the gratitude I have for you. Thanks again!
