My experience at this school started very good. When I was a freshman there were lots of people to help. Suddenly sophomore year, I was going through a lot. I had severe depression, anxiety, and I was very shy. On top of that, the second month of sophomore year I began to be bullied. Since I was little, I have always walked a bit oddly. I already was embarrassed by this and this made it worse. It started with a boy in one of my classes. Then everyone was making fun of me. No one stood up for me. No one did anything. If you look different, I do not recommend going here.

This school really doesn't care about the students as much as everybody thinks. My freshman year there was a sexual assault in the band room and the school wouldn't make a report. In 11th grade kids were shooting up heroine in the girls bathroom by the lunch room and despite it being reported to the school nothing was done about it. I watched a kid in the cafeteria get kicked to the floor and stomped on multiple times and the staff nearby did nothing. Also the amount of CRHS students that have to be hospitalized for suicidal ideation and self harm is pretty sad. This school is only good to you if you are extremely smart or in sports.

This school needs to focus more on the arts, or at least prioritize them an equal amount. Students need a way to express themselves and this school does not prioritize students well being at all

I'm currently attending CRHS at my Sophomore(10th grade) year, and so far I've had a wonderful experience working with the staff to fulfill my learning to the MAX. Though the school could use more activities for computer science related fields, and an ASL(American Sign Language) club. Overall Coon Rapids High School is a great school to go to, love every minute of it. GO CARDINALS!! :]

I got to wear my Caribbean rum T-shirt to school and no one cared which was chill. Too bad they wouldn't let me wear my school spirit baseball cap. But I graduated so it was lit.

Not even worth going here or the coon rapid middle school, Andover is way better…..but the work career path is great it’s just the school in general and the people in it

Literally none of the teachers follow covid procedures. and most of the kids don’t wear masks properly or none at all and the staff doesn’t care
