Worst grumpy old man ever. Turned down a dog in distress because he said he didn’t like my dad. So what your going to make the animal pay. Poor pup. You Were only hurting the pup. Not to mention do not let this man crop your dogs ears he tosses dogs around while under. Worst cropping ever seen completely ruined all 3 my dogs ear’s literally butchered them an cut them completely uneven. So if you want your dogs ears crooked as all hell then go here. Like what were you doing? Do you even know? Please do not give this old man your money he doesn’t care about any pet let alone anybody as a person. So embarrassing to even show people what he did to my dogs. Smdh please stop cropping ears and doing poor surgery’s without making sure the dogs even been up to date on shots. Using dirty equipment handing people puppies like they are rags or trash this guy is a real piece of work! Go meet the old guy see how he treats you and how he treats your pets. Have no idea how he still gets any business. I know it’s a small town so it may be your only option and I’m sorry. But he just ain’t right and That is very unfortunate. Completely ruined my show dog I paid 6500 for the first pick. And this is what he does to him. The other two are even worse omg. Ruined all my dogs ears please do not ruin anymore or anyone else’s. What were you thinking ‍♂️?

Best vet clinic I been to in all Colorado. Great service!! Homey atmosphere, and best part of all is my dogs always get great care!!!! I wish there was many clinics like this one throughout Colorado who love their work and they do it for the animals not the paycheck!! God bless the staff and may they continue to do what they do!!

We brought our micro bully mama dog in for a c section. We made the 2 hour drive from Denver based on the great reviews and I can say the reviews are accurate. They delivered 11 puppies via c section and took amazing care of mama. Very informative about what was going on and what to expect, etc. Will be coming back for ACL repair once puppies are weaned. Well worth the drive! Thank you guys again!!!!

We absolutely love Dr. Pat. He is not only personable, but delivers superb care to our menagerie of animals. He has always been excellent with response time whenever I've contacted him with questions or concerns.

Worst Vet I ever visited. Very rude and not very knowledgeable. It was definitely a waste of $$$$
to say the least. The other one in town I found was much better by far. She was polite and caring.

If I can rate this place a 0 I would. This clinic is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I don’t appreciate the staff and how they handle our situation, the owner Pat Traphagan was very rude and had attitude. I do not trust this vet with any emergency visit, don’t understand why they have an emergency number if they never answer your calls/voice messages. Didn’t even seem to care that my dog was in need and was about to go into to labor and needed a c-section, Dr Pat Traphagan refuse treatment even though we had an appt the day before and was aware that our dog would be going into labor the next day. I could have lost my dog because of them and that feeling I don’t wish upon no one else! Do not go to this clinic!!! If your dog needs any check up or surgery I recommend Prairie Winds Veterinary Clinic which is up the street. Took very good care of my dog considering it was very last minute. The staff was so nice and made us feel comfortable would rate that place a 5/5. Above and beyond grateful for Prairie Winds Veterinary Clinic.

Don't take your show animals here to crop their ears. One of the ears was cut wrong and wouldn't stand up correctly. They don't provide a decent brace for the ears and place the responsibility of making and reapplying the brace yourself with sub par instruction. Poor communication overall. Won't be giving them business in the future.
