I had high hopes for this place but left disappointed. The auction started over 30 minutes late. The items on offer are just sort of laying all over the floor in the sales arena which makes it incredibly hard to preview them and check the quality. This is largely due to the fact that they had a lot of stuff which is nice but not when things are inefficiently run. Despite having several helpers in the ring, there would still be long delays moving on after an item was sold. It was long after 10 when we left and they hadn't even gotten to the horses yet.

Well, from all indications this looks like an up and coming business. According to the nice man I spoke with they have been closed for two years. The economy shut them down and they havent started back up again. My phone isn't operating or i would have called first, but from all I educations on the web it looked open. I was disappointed. I love a good auction.

Great place real down home fill,good horse and tack auction. all around nice place family owned an operated with pride. If you're looking to buy a horse or some tack it's the place.

Cowtown is a bare-bone auction. You can pick up a good horse here if you look close. There is plenty of time to see the horses before the auction. I bring a pocket of small treats. One can tell a little about a horse in how it takes a treat. Some people drug horses to show them. Cowtown does not condone this action, but it happens. The last horse I bid on was at $175, but when I won that horse they said $200. OK, no big deal, the auction is not prefect. She is a good horse for $222 out the door.

Had a great time at this place. It's an open air location with gets HOT in the summer but awesome deals can be had here. Get a number on the way in because you'll see something you just have to have.

People are great but the auction was just unorganized here it is 11 o'clock at night and we'll still waiting to load up the stuff we bought. Maybe it was just a bad night but really, I thought I'd be home by now.

Only been there once because they were so far away from me. They are open at 5 pm the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month.

Friendly, nice tack and horses. Doug the auctioneer is amazing to listen to when auctioneering.
