I get lunch here often and usually go with the bacon cheeseburger. Minus tom. Add pic. Fries needed extra salt but that's my preference. Super good and only $13.50. Gotta give em props.

This is the hub of civilization in the area and under new ownership. It opens too late for many Loggers, but the breakfasts are hearty and set you up right for the day ahead. It needs to be supported by as many locals as possible to ensure its future.
Dinner Update: We stopped in for dinner and ordered the Cajun Chicken Salad. It was an instant favorite. I mean REALLY GOOD and very colorful.

Comfort food well executed!
The chicken fried steak was crispy and tender, the hash browns the same. Biscuits were not the lightest I have had but very good and the gravy excellent.

Fresh crisp fries, tots and onion rings. The grilled chicken sandwich was tasty with homemade sauce. The veggie burger was yummy as well. Excellent friendly service in a nice relaxing atmosphere. They have an arcade with lots of pinball machines!

Locally owned restaurant and as another reviewer stated, a hub in this area, as it is the only well known restaurant. Thankfully it is a good one! We hold a few larger family dinners here each year. The staff is usually very prompt and knows how to handle larger parties.

I've attached an updated set of MENU photos as it has changed.

If I was to have a gripe, it is that Breakfast is served all day (about half of their menu), BUT it is not all day on Friday or Saturday. Wish it was.

Burgers and tots are a solid option. Taco salad is fantastic. They do a prime rib special sometimes that is good. Side salid is a good portion with nice variety of toppings.

This particular time my Wife had the Turkey open face sandwich and every element from the turkey, to the gravy to the potatoes were extremely over salted, making it virtually inedible.

They have a LARGE Arcade game selection in back as well as video poker.

An absolutely lovely place with a very nice atmosphere and just downright good ol fashioned food. Great service and there was a train that went slowly passed right across the street. Rather than it being loud I felt myself drawn to the window and watching it like a six year old. This place is a breath of fresh air.

Great little diner on the way to the coast. We all had breakfast, which was made to perfection, hot, tasty and decent portions. I had the biscuits and gravy, which was one of the best ones I've had in a while. Waitress was very attentive and polite. Recommend stopping here if your in the area looking for a family friendly bite to eat.

Well we come here every year at the same time for a remembrance of my late mother in-law. We went last year and it was just okay but this year we went and the food was great. Not sure if it was just a different cook but he did a great job. We were the last ones served so we did see the cook and I couldn't believe he looked maybe 19 years old. He has a bright future ahead of him in culinary art if he sticks with it. We will be there again next year and hopefully it is still as good. My only problem is that they are not open every time we are there. But I would recommend this place if you want good home style cooking at a good price.
