I’ve been to other county fairs before but this one was awesome. The amount of different food trucks and activities for the kids and animals were awesome. Definitely a state fair lover and this one was like a mild run of it which was amazing.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Chrismas Village that they do each year. This year was even more interactive and fun than last year! There are two different horse drawn rides that my kids took several rides on. Hot chocolate, cider, food options, a little store, you could write a letter to Santa in the s hool house and then go see him! My kids and I all loved it! We were there for almost 3 full hours just taking in all the village stops.

Loved it! So much fun for families and friends! From rides to food to music, it's a total fun every where, not to mention about petting zoo and pony rides for kids. One will be out of fair with a heart full of happiness!!

The Dakota county fair is always fun. There is a lot to do for little kids. I was bummed they didn’t have the petting zoo this year. Fun time though. Well organized and well thought out. Good for all ages. We love the heritage village. Such a cool thing that they’re all real old villages. The little programs they put on are cute too.

my son’s pass to fun fell in a ride on 8/7/24 and I know exactly which one. but I couldn’t find it because it was already dark . The unfairness is that it happened the same with somebody else, and you guys did give her a new one that she didn’t need to pay again.
but you wanted me to buy it again? why? I tried to hard to look for the pass but I couldn’t find it, and when I finally decided to BUY another one the next day on 8/8/2024. you said the printer wasn’t working and I needed it to use until the next day on Friday.

I don’t know the name of the ride but I will leave a picture.

This place is wonderful for kids. They get to see what life was like at the turn of the century. Planning on bringing them back here in the summer. If you write letters to Santa, they mail you a return!! So cool!

Love love love love love love this place. I have been going here for many years with my daycare children in my own children. Will continue to go back I absolutely love going through all the very old houses Schoolhouse Smith's just a whole bunch of things to learn
