If you are near Silver Lake, in Mears or within an hour or two of Hart, Michigan, treat yourself to almost two hours of live piano and theater organ music for the low cost of $12. They just started doing a boxed dinner that changes each show (call for reservations), during Gail's piano pre-show music with requests. Then Dale plays a beautiful theater organ throughout a silent movie. Great for all ages and the movie also changes weekly. This couple is so talented and it is a great joy to enjoy music with them.

We watched Charlie Chaplin flicker called CITY LIGHTS and Dale's Pipe Organ's accompaniment MADE THE SHOW! He was RIGHT ON and, at times I had to nudge myself to realize "HEY HE IS PLAYING THIS!" BRAVO to the both of you!

Gail's intro was stunning and difficult. She play a BEATLES rendition that was EXCELLENT! My wife, Joan said: "How do you keep a parrot on a stick?" I said "How do you keep a dog under a piano?" You'll just have to go, to see what I mean. ;oD

It was amazing to watch a silent movie that was accompanied by an organ! My wife and son and I had a great time visiting with Dale and Gail and we got a tour of all the work that they have put into the restoration!! Highly recommend!!

Wow !! What a nice experience !! Thank you. Please post a picture, that could be copied, just like you waving at out buss group from NVS. Gail was in red top, Dale in white shirt, the white dog at your feet, and in front of your theater. What an unforgettable picture of love and family. I couldn’t get the picture, when the buss took off too soon. I can’t get that image out of my mind. God, please bless both Dale and Gail, and may they have good health, and a solution be found for Dale’s health. Love to you, Wes Hendrick

It’s worth the drive to Hart, Michigan just for this! The loveliest silent movie theatre set artfully inside Dale & Gale’s gorgeous, welcoming, friendly, art gallery space.
We’ve been three times in the past year!
The night begins with Gale’s fun and gorgeous piano playing - with her adorable dog Loki at her side with the audience cooing! Feel free to sing along!
Some audience members dress up, some wear silent movie attire, others super casual- so anything goes!

Then…. The movie begins! Dale perfectly plays the pipe organ to the Silent movie!
Don’t forget to consider purchasing one of Gale’s stunning paintings - andddd walk outside behind the gallery to see how they beautified it with murals and flowers. Dine at the Mexican market restaurant next door or pizza around the corner- or the other Mexican spot across the street.
Easy parking too!

If you like 1920's-era silent movies to the accompaniment of a theater organ, enjoy "easy-listening" music on the organ and piano (alone and in combination), and appreciate good artwork, this is the place for you! Dale and Gail are both very talented and skilled, and share their special abilities to the benefit of all. I highly recommend a visit to their establishment! We had an opportunity to do so the evening of June 15, for a showing of "The General" starring Buster Keaton, following a nice pre-movie concert with Dale on the organ and Gail on the piano. It was great! The photo shows Dale demonstrating some of the capabilities of the large 4-manual theater organ that he built for their theater. Truly an awesome instrument!
