I called and made an appointment due to their website not having the options I needed even though it was very in depth. I was able to get an appointment the next day with alot of time options that worked for me. Brought my dog in for shots and a blood test, all of which was done quickly and kindly by the wonderful staff. I always recommend this clinic when asked.

The veterinarian was excellent, and the staff working with my dog were also. The staff at the desk were curt and unfriendly. We paid with a credit card and complained about the 3% that was added to the bill. She never told us that if we used a debit card, 3% wouldn't be added. Thus, we were charged. It wasn't posted, and this was an emergency visit. Of course, we weren't thinking as clearly. The information would have been appreciated.

Absolutely horrible. I made an appointment to put my 15 year old dog to sleep. I was there an hour and 15 minutes and left with my dog. Such a difficult decision to make very emotional & I was booked for a wellness exam. Such a nightmare and the emotional pain and trauma. I had been there before and had a good experience. Not this time. I can't ever go back there again.

So I do want to start by saying that I’m not a client here, and based on the experience I had with a the group of vet techs that came on our property the other day, I never will be. Earlier this week a neighborhood dog who likes to take off every once and awhile got out (haven’t seen her in awhile either so it’s not a daily/weekly issue)
While I was walking my dog on a leash, a vet tech (I assume) came running onto our property and asked me if I’d seen a dog (provided description) I personally know the owners of the dog as they are customers at my business across the street from the vet. After talking with her, she seemed very concerned as somebody had witnessed the dog being hit, I went inside and called my customer using the information stored on our database. His family was immediately on it, as it’s a very loved family dog. She’s super sweet, just skittish and doesn’t approach people she doesn’t know! Stranger danger right? By this point, she had already RAN back to her house (I saw her when I pulled into open, before the vet tech came up to me) (it didn’t appear at all that she was injured. She was still running/ SPRINTING and showed zero signs of injury when we spoke) after that, while on the phone with the owner, like 3-4 other techs came walking up looking for her… they had a very poor attitude and told me to call animal control after I told them I’d talked to the owners and it was being taken care of… I found that experience to be unprofessional and made me highly uncomfortable. I thought you just wanted to make sure the dog was okay, but truly it’s clear you guys were angry at the owner (who was working) for something completely out of his control. Do you assume all animals who get loose are owned by people who don’t care? Is your first response to try and find the owner or just call animal control? I definitely think that the poor attitude was a big part of what made me uncomfortable, that and being literally mean mugged by people I’ve never seen in my life before on OUR property mind you… but then advising me to call animal control on a dog who has a caring owner… yea so I just wanted to say that so somebody in charge can correct discuss that with these techs, you should these situations more professionally in the future, because my owner has taken his dogs to this business and because of this interaction I never would. I would be completely uncomfortable and would fear judgment from the staff!

We’ve been coming here for years, ever since we’ve moved to Lansing. This is without a doubt the best vets office we’ve ever been to! Everyone here is absolutely lovely. Our cat, Charlie, has a plethora of health issues and on top of it all, is an absolute nightmare at the vet. No exaggeration, he’s been dismissed from other places in the past or they’ve simply told us it’s a liability to treat him. Not here; they just strap a little muzzle on him and get to work. You know, like, doing their jobs. Often with a smile and a joke about how ridiculous he is. We also have an axolotl that we’ve taken in before and the exotic vet they have has helped us recently with an issue she was having. They are very communicative and knowledgeable. Could not recommend them more!

The actual Vet is amazing when she has people schedule her appointments with common sense. Her assistant is extremely unprofessional. Made a 😬face when she saw my dog the first time and then proceeded to give him tons of peanut butter which later caused him to puke. Every appointment they’re behind and on my final visit she asked me to bring my dog in a spare room with people coming in and out (mind you my dog is paralyzed in his back legs) so he’s twisting and turning. Then when their appointment with the person before me was finally finished they asked me to pick him up AGAIN and when that didn’t work they laughed and suggested dragging him. I had no issues with the Vet herself she was very professional.

Also gave away the wheelchair they said they would give to me all because I walked out of an appointment due to their unprofessional assistant acting inappropriately. Really only interested in your money that’s it.

Do not take any of your animals here. Any and every one of the “vets” only care about the money which is why prices are so high. Also I would always get a second opinion because I 100% for a fact know everything with them is cheaper at other places. They don’t care about your animals. Only that $$$. Awful place, lack of compassion from vets for the animals they supposedly care about, and EXTREMELY overpriced. Talk to other vets. There are much better options.
