My husband and I took our 5 year old grandson this past Saturday to see The Little Mermaid. What an awesome show. The actors of all ages , costumes, props were all great! That was our first time going and we will go back to see more.

Went to see The Little Mermaid and it was so amazing. My son is about to turn 5 and he actually sat and watched the whole thing. It was easy to buy tickets ahead of time and there is parking across the street. I would get there early if you want seats in the front or guaranteed parking though because everything was almost full when I got there 15 minutes ahead of show time.

Really enjoyed "Wonderland - Alice's Rock & Roll Adventure," a fun show that I highly recommend for children and adults. The theater is very nice and there is parking across the street.

these shows are so nice!! they always impress with the singing and dancing and acting. i love going here around the holidays. you wouldn’t be disappointed with the performance !! i recommend going here on the weekends because you can get dressed up as it is such a historic building. the kids are so great, keep doing what your doing!

This is a amazing venue. Yes it is small and could use some updating, but the performance we saw was absolutely amazing. The costumes were spot on to the movie and you can tell how hard and dedicated these kids are to their craft. My hats off to all the kids and the team that make these shows possible. Oh almost forgot we went to see Frozen Jr. And I will definitely go back again.

The Delaware Children's Theater is great! I have performed there and seen shows there. The staff is very hard working and cast the most talented actors/actresses. They also accept adults in some performances. Worth looking into if you are considering being on stage or looking for amazing entertainment!

I recommend going to the Delaware Children’s Theatre in Wilmington for the following reasons:

1. It is a real, live theatre experience, directed and performed by professionally trained directors and actors along with talented children in age appropriate roles.
2. Each show features live music performed by their own Pit Orchestra, and beautifully designed sets and costumes. The theatre itself is listed as on the National Register of Historic places.
3. For a little more than the price of a movie, it is a great value, and the cost of concessions is nominal. Front row seats are the same cost as any other seat, and they have a really cool balcony. Plus you can meet and take photos with the cast at the end of each show.
4. Plays allow children to live in a pretend world, and I see kids at the theatre fully engaged mentally and emotionally. The actors lead us through the story and the children are pretending right along with them. Young and old alike take the journey together, which is a thrilling and special experience a family can share together, something uncommon in this age of technology.
