I do not recommend this place for dog grooming. My experience was highly disappointing due to poor customer service, lack of organization, and unprofessionalism. Here’s what happened:

I brought in my 16-pound terrier mix for a grooming appointment. While my first visit wasn’t ideal, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned. This time, I specifically asked to be notified when my dog’s appointment was nearly finished to minimize his time in a crate, as he has severe crate anxiety. The person at the counter, who I assume was the owner, was immediately frustrated by this request, stating that calling or texting clients takes time and could turn a “20-minute haircut into two hours.” While I sympathized, the attitude was uncalled for.

After FOUR hours of no communication, I finally called to check on my dog. When I politely inquired if he was ready, I was met with yelling (“NO!”) and was told I’d be called back. Five minutes later, the same person rudely informed me that he wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes and blamed my call for causing delays. Meanwhile, I was already nearby and decided to wait in the parking lot. While waiting, I saw one of the groomers step outside for a cigarette, which added to my frustration because I had just been told they were too busy even to answer phones.

When I finally picked up my dog, I saw there were THREE groomers working on top of the lady I had originally spoken to, even though my dog had seemingly been left for hours with no priority. To top it off, I was charged significantly more than my last visit without any explanation for the price increase.

Between the rude behavior, lack of communication, excessive delays, and unjustified pricing, this was a terrible experience. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I took my sweet boy dog to get his nails trimmed. As soon as I walked in the lady at the front didn't say hello or anything. Very rude said here for a nail trim. She took my dog and I told her my dog needs to see me to know he is okay and he is good with nail trims. She did the front fine and then in the middle of it, she took my dog into the back and I do not know what she was doing with my dog. She returned with my dog and said my dog was biting her and peeing on her. First of all, my dog has the smallest teeth in the world and is not sharp at all so how can my dog bite you? And he has never bitten anyone he is very sweet with everyone. Also, I took him to do his business before entering the building. Just so you know dogs can tell if someone is a good person or a bad person. Also, she thought she was a vet and was telling me what I should do with my dog. She told me that I have to bring my dog to the vet or another place for nail trim and he is not allowed to return. Which I thought was very rude. She should have marks on her arm that my dog did and those were there before I gave her my dog. I hope everyone reads this before coming there and knowing how they treat people and pets. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!

Payton was so caring and took care of baby girl Roxy. She is a rock star. Plus met with Jackie who got very set up for me. The place is clean and just a wonderful place. Appt only took 2hrs

Such welcoming and family atmosphere. I completely trust them with my pooch. Jack always looks amazing and they even give him a Mohawk! I never worry when dropping him off because I know they will do what is best while making him look adorable 🙂

Benji has some anxiety going to the groomers due to being a shelter puppy but Doggone Purr-Fection always takes care of him! They always try to accommodate my crazy work schedule to squeeze Benji in which I appreciate! Thankful for their many years of service!

Our dog’s groomer for 8 years retired, needed a new one and saw this shop in our neighborhood. It was easy to schedule our dog, called 2 days before and received a text later that night to confirm and was sent pictures of type-written rules and agreements but didn’t get to read but just the first one with reminders to make sure dogs have pottied before appointment otherwise will be charged extra if dog will have accident. I totally understand that. Moving on to the day of the appointment, when I dropped off our girl , I politely asked how long will the grooming be and I was answered “we’ll call you when she’s ready for pick up” and I let that pass. Then when I told the lady my girl has allergies and if she can use the special shampoo our vet gave us , she said okay then followed with condescending tone of “ What are you feeding her? She’s not supposed to have beef or chicken “. I bit my tongue because believe me we all know about that and spent $$$ to figure out our dog’s allergy! We dropped our dog at 230pm and I’m helping my mom packing for house renovation so at 415pm I called to ask for estimated time how much longer so I know how much helping can I do, then the lady answered again “ We’ll call you when she’s ready to be picked up” followed with text of the regulations “ no calling or texting because it will take away the time of the groomers and for impatient owners who showed up before called on, pet will be sent home as is and be charged full price”. I apologized and she replied “we quote 2-4 hours and it haven’t been 2 hours yet”. By that time I was furious , she never answered me when I asked how long from the very start! The groomer did a great job and I’m thankful for that but customer service sucks! I work in a medical field and I never treated family of my most difficult patients like she treated me. Later I read the other reviews and I’m glad to know that I’m not isolated with her rudeness it looks like she does it to 60% of their customer. STAY AWAY from this salon!

What a great place, we will not ever go to another place. I have been taking my dog Holly there every month for about 5 years.
Holly is always greeted with cheers and smiles when the owner and staff sees her. They tell me all the time how much they love her and how she is such a great dog. The owner and staff are very professional and have made us feel like we are apart of the family. My kids love going in and paying so they can grab a piece of candy and be the first to see what color Holly's nails are painted. Every time I pick her up she is groomed to what I consider top notch service. You will not be disappointed and will have found your forever Groomer.
