Seven weeks ago we adopted Tucker(aka Lucky). It hasn't been an easy road however I now understand what they mean with 3 days/3weeks/3 months because it has definitely been an adjustment for Tucker and us. We are very grateful to all the volunteers at the shelter for all the love and care they provide to all the animals. We love Tucker and wanted to share some pictures along with his first haircut done today.

I am highly disappointed in this adoption facility. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. My family and I went this past Saturday, October 21st to look for a dog to love and care for as the newest addition to our family. We fell completely in love with a beautiful puppy who I won’t name, filled out the application and was ready to take her home that day if we could have! We were told that she was so new to the facility that she wasn’t even on the website yet so we were hoping we had a really good chance of bringing her home. We were told that we would get a phone call the following week, most likely by Thursday. Well today is Friday, November 1st the day after. We called to check up on her and the application status , no answer after 4x trying to get ahold of someone. But they ended up calling us later with their convenience to respond to a voicemail we left yesterday and was told that she was chosen to be given to a different family !!!! No call, nothing. No respect, didn’t follow through with anything. Just said that she was a better fit for them. We have every ability to love and take care of that puppy otherwise we wouldn’t have went through the process of trying to have her. Not to mention, I was so excited that I tried calling Tuesday multiple times, yesterday AND today to no avail!!! They don’t answer the phones. I’m appalled!!! And terribly saddened. She even went home to this new family yesterday!!!! No word from them until today and probably still wouldn’t know anything if we hadn’t left that voicemail asking for an update! I’ll never adopt through them after this experience. I do hope all of the fur babies there find loving homes to go too.

Wonderful place great people taking care of all the animals and the people that come through seeking a new family member. We got our new family member from them.His name is Romeo.We are in love with him. Special shout out to Pam for bringing our boy to us. Met some of the cutest dogs here but dogs and cats forever seems to believe you must be 25 to adopt a dog. I'm 24 and they would not let me fill out an application. How does a place expect to find these dogs homes if they will not allow young people to adopt guess I'll have to go to a breeder.

Great place! They take very good care of the animals. We adopted Benny an Boxer hound mix. He is such a good boy and we love him and is loving his new home.
