Emily was an absolutely amazing photographer. Her photos were absolutely gorgeous and she had such a way of making us feel comfortable and natural with all the photos. We had a blast with her doing our engagement photos and our wedding photos. I even did a mini boudoir shoot with Emily to give as a gift to my now husband and he said it was the best gift he had ever gotten! I would highly recommend Emily & Co photography. My husband and I were planning a wedding in Clearwater, FL while he was in Louisiana and I was in the UK ,up until a month before the wedding - things got pretty stressful...
I had been searching for a wedding photographer for months and months, but I just could not find a photographer that could truly capture the style of wedding pictures I had imagined in my mind. Emily is awesome! She was very professional, approachable, fun, and easy to work with during our engagement photos session. She came with good ideas for poses which looked great, but also requested to know which poses and props we wanted to use, too. She made us feel very comfortable, and we will definitely reach out to Emily for any future photo sessions we plan to take. We were anxious to see how the photos came out, and she even started working on and sharing some of the photos she had taken on the same day, and they are amazing! The lighting was perfect, and she really captured the essence of us and our relationship. This experience and the photos are worth every cent, and I am so glad we found her!!!!!

My husband (YAY LOVE SAYING THAT) and I are both from Maryland, we currently live in Georgia- but we had a destination wedding in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Crazy, Right!! Emily was seriously a breath of fresh air to work with. I felt pressured and taken advantage of when receiving quotes from some photographers-- but NOT with Emily. She was so sweet from the very first time we spoke. She was so accommodating and easy to work with since the beginning. She customized our package based on our wants and needs. She was perfect.

And during the actual wedding- she was an angel sent from above! A wedding can be very stressful and overwhelming at times, and when its your special day, you really need the people around you and working for you- to work with you to make everything go as smoothly as possible. That was Emily for me. She was so flexible, supportive, and made me feel so comfortable. Emily is not only an amazing photographer, but she is a genuine person.

Her photography skills are undeniable. The pictures are exactly what I was looking for. When I first starting communicating with Emily, I told her about a certain style of photos that I was looking for- "light and airy" and she delivered! My pictures are absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!!- My friends and family members keep telling me how amazing my photos are from the wedding---and I have Emily & Co. to thank for that.

As a bride planning a destination wedding from afar, I did a lot of research leading up to our big day. I am a firm believer that your photographs are the biggest wedding decision you will make, since it is the only thing that lasts! Flowers will wilt, cake will be eaten, the dress you wear only once…but the photographs are your only way of seeing those special moments, the only investment you will use after your ceremony, and the best way to decorate your new home together! So, I scoured photographers-putting in countless hours of reviewing galleries, reading biographies, and vetting quotes. I even passed up three personal recommendations to choose my number one choice: Emily & Co. Photography. And I’m so glad I did.

Emily is so easy to work with, sweet, creative, flexible, low-key, encouraging, and a MASTER photographer. The moments Emily captured, the natural way she posed us, the going out of her way to meet my dream requests (without making me feel guilty,) the professional editing she added to create the most beautiful beach images, and the thoughtful preview/quick turnaround was worth every penny, if not more. I want to start off by saying that I never post bad reviews, but as a bride who is new to FL I relied a great deal on other customer's reviews when choosing our wedding vendors. Emily is extremely unprofessional! Our first issue was when Emily canceled our engagement session on us an hour before it was supposed to begin. At that point we had already put a non-refundable deposit of $700 so we were unfortunately stuck using her services. We decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and still used her as our wedding photographer. Emily gave us our engagement photos back weeks late. At our wedding she dressed extremely unprofessionally in leggings and the assistant she brought with her was wearing short jean shorts. This worst part is though we STILL do not have all of our wedding photos back. Our wedding was in July and it is now November. Emily has completely stopped responding to our phone calls and emails. Emily took very pretty photos of our wedding and has been using them all over her website and Facebook page to promote her business, but will not even get back to us. The most frustrating part of this whole situation is the lack of professionalism and communication on Emily's part. I am a reasonable person and I understand things come up, but I cannot understand how a business owner can just refuse to get back to their customers after they have paid you a great deal of money. I noticed Emily was receiving other bad reviews on her Facebook page and has since deleted her reviews section so new customers cannot see them. I hope someday we receive the rest of our wedding photos but at this point I am not going to hold my breath! Extremely disappointed and would not recommend to anyone!

*UPDATE 12/9/16- I just wanted to follow up after reading Emily's response and say that most of what she has written is untrue and furthermore it is now DECEMBER and Emily has never once responded to my inquiries or reached out to me to make this right. Extremely unprofessional.
