I am currently a senior at East Lake High School and for the most part I have nothing but bad things to say about this school. As for the teachers, most of them are great! A lot of the teachers genuinely care about their students. The real problem is rooted in the administration, all of which are horrible. They DO NOT care about the students what so ever. All they care about is keeping up a good status grade wise. NOTHING is done in cases of bullying or mental illness. I have filed bullying reports and not even one email response in return! The students are treated like children, regardless of the fact that some of them are 18 YEARS OLD. My family has had problems with the administration and they actively ignored us. There are so many corrupt individuals and I am so sad that I even had to attend this school.

Best school in the area! The people here are drug addicts, but they're not half bad. SOME of the teachers are bad, however you do eventually get a great one. The administration is horrible, but they are working on it. This school is for "Rich white kids" but anyone can fit in because 90% of the students are decent people!

First of all, I'm part of the 2014 class.

To be fair most high schools are full of brats but a lot of the ones here are just rich ones, some of the teachers are kind of disinterested in what they do, but I got lucky with a few teachers. Cyberbullying is an issue that is everywhere today no matter which school you go to. At the very least the engineering program that this school has is VERY enjoyable and I do not regret being a part of it one bit, also the library is quite well stocked with books and there's no shortage from extracurricular activities. I think they also still serve Domino's pizza during lunch every day now.

This is the worst school of all time. The students are rude, self-centered, and arrogant, the teachers don't teach, the administration is horrible, and every time i go to the bathroom there's either something in the urinal or toilet or a group of kids smoking e-cigs. The teachers give you work just to keep you busy and don't explain a thing. They even give you homework over BREAKS!!! It's horrible!!! Don't go to this school

Terrible school, guidance doesn't know what they are doing. Drugs all over the school and kids. Ruined my son 🙁 Had to pull him out and luckily he's finishing up at Clearwater Adult Ed... Daughter is being home-schooled because this school is terrible... Bunch of rich kids with drugs and weed and nothing else to do.
