We experienced a 4 day convention here. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is wonderful, and the hotel is just great to host an event. They have multiple breakout rooms that are perfect for small sessions or to host multiple sessions. Podiums available and large screens for showing things to the crowd.

We held an event here in January of 2024. In all our years of traveling to conventions and then holding our own events, we have never dealt with a worse facility. The facility was not kept secure, with multiple entry points that were not locked or able to be locked leading to the theft of items from multiple vendors. When the police were called to the scene the security cameras were found to be "broken". During the set up of the event, the employees left mid-way and did not return, forcing us to do their work ourselves. At the end of the event, they locked all the bathrooms (?) and left before we did. When we addressed our many issues with the management and owners of the connected Marriott facility, we were ignored and the issues never resolved. We absolutely do not recommend using this facility for any reason and in truth we cannot recommend the hotel either since they share a number of staff members.

Great convention center in terms of size, cleanliness and a variety of room options for large or small gatherings of people. Tech is modern, with large screens, projectors etc. for presenters. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is location. The center is in a located away from the central dining district in Macon so you cannot walk to food and shopping. Be prepared to drive yourself, or Uber. Our conference was smart and hired the trolley for three hours each night to take people into town and back and that was a great convenience!

Me and my husband gone here for an economic meeting and have to say we loved the staff. It was well placed and set up. I enjoyed the meal and the information from the speakers.
