To the people who complain about this place, people need to realize, this zoo was purchased from someone else. Were some of the enclosures small for the bigger animals, yes, but as someone who also has a heart for animals and tries to help them, it can become very expensive very quick. After seeing the owner’s go fund me, I honestly think the family is doing the best they can for these animals with the resources they have. I hope there can be improvements in the future, but that will be with the help of the community.

Now that’s out of the way, my husband and I honestly had such a great time today at this zoo. It’s a much more up close and personal feel, than your average zoo and it was cool seeing so many amazing creatures! The staff was polite and helpful and we spent around three hours there and didn’t even get a chance to see everything. We will definitely have to be back in the future when we come to visit!

Also, the price wasn’t bad at all. About $15 each to enter and then another $15 for three bags of feed and five tokens to feed the birds, giraffe, and fish. That was a steal!

The animals at this adorable little zoo are healthy!!! I've never seen better-looking animals and I've been to zoos worldwide! Shiny coats, healthy weights, beautiful enclosures. It's a little zoo but has a good selection of animals, enrichment, interactive opportunities, and the staff/family that lives there...I cannot say enough about how kind, hard-working, and knowledgeable they were! Highly recommend!!

This is an amazing zoo! We got a bag of feed for the farm animals and tokens to feed both the birds and the giraffes for $10! It was an absolutely fantastic experience, and if we’re ever in the area we would 100% go again! There’s a wide variety of animals to see, from reptiles to birds to exotic cats!

We had a wonderful experience. My youngest loves snakes and was finally able to meet one and learn more about them. We fed the penguins, parakeets, penguins, and all the barnyard animals. It was a nice little zoo and worth the drive if you are staying in Destin.

A great zoo! It's not excessive and overwhelming but still plenty to do to make a good day trip. There are multiple animal encounters to purchase ($25+ each) and you can feed some of the animals for a reasonable price. I recommend 10/10.

I was incredibly disappointed with this zoo. The price was “good” and reviews were high, so we stopped to kill some time. I genuinely do not know how this facility has a 4.7 review. The staff was friendly, this isn’t about them, the animal care was POOR. Honestly horrendous. The animals had small, dirty enclosures. They all had little to NO enrichment. The animals also had small, pathetic little shelters. The lion, tiger, and hyena are all in small, concrete cages with pretty much nothing in there. There was one of each- these are pack animals, who are all by themselves. The duck/goose pond was pitiful. It was very small and dingy. They are also selling Aldabra Tortoises, which is so irresponsible. They grow up to 500lbs, and can live over 100 years… they should not just be readily available for purchase, that is a HUGE commitment and sets up those animals for a neglectful life. This is clearly a for-profit zoo and is not focused on the conservation or welfare of animals. I am sickened that I gave money to this place.
