I personally enjoy vending at this fall festival because it is very well organized, advertised well, and there are no fees for admission or parking. People with large families can afford to shop with the vendors much better because of this. And the kid’s activities are free is a huge plus!

This is a historic place to visit and feel the energy from the old mill and covered bridge. In some of my photos you can see the spirits on the stone wall at the mill. There is tubing down the river, playground, restaurant, ball fields and you can walk in nature….. I definitely would recommend to go and have a beautiful adventure with yourself, children or as a couple. There is also other historic building that I did not get pictures of plus a library

Great day trip. Bridges like this will soon be a forgotten part of the old ways. Even though you can't drive this bridge, it's bridge twin built by the same builder located just south of Newnan, can be driven through. Also seeing what's left of the old mill is pretty cool! Stop at the country store for a pie, ice cream and a soda afterwards. ?

A reasonable example of a covered bridge. Plenty of parking and a little museum to accompany it. Maybe spend 30 minutes to an hour if you want to read all the signs and do everything at the sight but not much else to do besides the bridge and museum. Plenty of space for children to runaround and a few picnic tables. You do pass several monuments on the way, the drive is very nice, and you can swing by the 2nd largest coal powerplant in the US if you want to go down the road a little further.

We are new to Georgia and chose to attend the Euharlee covered bridge fall festival over other festivals that same day. What an absolutely cute and neat town surrounding the covered bridge. Our family had a blast checking out the bridge. You can walk through the covered bridge. Explore the area around the bridge. We will definitely be back and can't wait take family with us when they come to visit. This is a must do and if you are around the area in October check out to see when the Fall Festival is. They had trick or treating with the vendors, so many vendors, free activities for the kiddos (games, hay rides, painting pumpkins, etc). Life entertainment and demonstrations. I believe this is a must do event and I hope to make it an annual festival for our family. We highly recommend checking out Euharlee Covered Bridge and the town...then in mid October be on the watch for their fall festival. I found info about it on Facebook

I lived in Woodstock, Kennesaw, Marietta, Cartersville and Euharlee from 1995-2007. Some of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. I worked in a little restaurant called Five Forks and those were some of the best days of my life. I miss it and I miss those day's.

This was the first time to visit Euharlee Creek Covered Bridge. I love the history around places like this. Whether you are in the area or make a day trip, you will love walking across the covered bridge, reading about the history of the nearby ruins, and looking through the windows of the old buildings to imagine what it must have been like when it was alive with people going about their daily lives.
