This is an institution that pours it's heart and soul into the preservation, support, and advancement of individual and cultural arts. They always have shows and exhibits that entertain and broaden the mind. I encourage everyone to visit and support the Fine Arts Center.

Visited the Deco Lounge to view visiting artist's embroidery works by Rob Watt. They are beautiful! View is from outside the Deco Lounge, but you can also see from inside.

We come down from Denver for a visit every 3 or 4 months. Love the Southwestern art exhibit. You won't find a larger array of Spanish Colonial art, including 200 year old retablos and statues anywhere else in the West - unless you're in Santa Fe. There are always a number of rotating exhibits that are well done.

My friend and I visited on a free day to see the Chihuly blown glass exhibit - his work is absolutely incredible! Also enjoyed other art exhibits throughout various rooms and hallways. Plan to visit more often.

The Fine Arts Center at Colorado College combines art galleries with a performance space - which makes a great combo allowing you to browse art before catching a show.

The theater is moderately sized with great views from every seat. We went for opening night of RENT and the production was remarkable - a great performance we enjoyed.

Recommend checking out their calendar for upcoming shows and booking show tickets in advance.

"City Dog and Prairie Dog" was a very complex story told in the most delightful way. Friendship to keystone species (!) were covered. The two actors spoke and sang seamlessly between English and Spanish. Very impressive.
