What a cute little theater! The view on the main floor is good no matter where you sit. I love that!

Lots of walking up and down steps to the bathrooms and concessions so be aware if you are disabled. I did not try to find the elevator so I cannot confirm if there is one or not.

We arrived for a show and decided to get a drink. The lines for the bar downstairs were very long and moved very slowly. People were leaving the downstairs lines in droves to go upstairs. People were mentioning that they had been serving quickly a bit earlier but the speed had slowed to a crawl.

We had seats in a special staff-only section directly behind the soundboard (a friend was the tour manager for the show). There were three of us and the rest of the seats (14 total, maybe?) were taken.

The group (which we were later told were the owners of the theatre and their guests) were some of the loudest people I've ever had to sit near at a show. It was a comedy show with a lot of talking and this group was constantly talking over the jokes, repeating what was said, explaining jokes, and having complete side conversations.

At one point, one of them messed with the thermostat and set it to 88 degrees. It started getting hot fast. We were sweating. Then they tried to turn it down and were unsuccessful. They had to go get someone who worked at the venue to set it correctly. It started to cool off but then someone messed with it again and we saw that they had set it back up to 78 degrees. At this point, one of them propped one of the doors of this small room (there is a door on each end) open for the remainder of the show.

The door being propped open let light into the room from the hallway, providing more distraction from the show we were there to see.

At one point, loud music and singing started in the downstairs bar, which was near this room, and someone went out and closed the outer door.

Super unprofessional. I texted my friend, the tour manager. He spoke to venue security who said A) they were the owners so they couldn't do much and B) they had already been spoken to once. If that is true, I hope the owners are aware of the fact that they ruined the show for some of their guests.

Loved this place, hoping they can find more good bands to play here.
All the chairs are good chairs.
Not to big that you feel disconnected from the band you're watching.. staff are very courteous.
You can see they are really trying to make your experience as pleasant as they can.

Beautiful theatre, good seats anywhere. Seats are comfortable, btw, and drinks were a great price. Will go again for sure.

I've been to a show here and I've worked at a show here. A gorgeous theater in the heart of downtown. You have to keep up to see what acts they have.
They have an amazing community outreach here for local arts and theater.
They don't own their own bar, but neighboring Charlenes and Biscuits and Bourbon are open for drinks.

They did a really great job re-doing this. I'm not sure what it use to be. But the concert I went to, there was a good view no matter where you sat. The cozy feel and the size makes any concert or show very personable and enjoyable. The drinks in the bar next door are a little pricey. But it is a very nice bar and I'm sure they redid that as well. Other than that parking was easy to find, and if the show gets done early you have a convient brewery across the street.
