This is a little theater with a BIG heart. Francis Wilson Playhouse has been around for 95 seasons! The theater itself is small, but the production value and the talent are huge! Theres a new show almost every month or two as far as I can tell. The cast is great, the sets are impressive and immersive, I was shocked at what this small community theater is able to do.

We've been to four shows so far and we plan to be back for many more! If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Historical community theater venue beautifully updated with 175 comfortable seats, a brand new sound system and professional lighting. A cozy and comfortable lobby welcomes all guests to come in and be entertained. Friendly and courteous staff with drinks and an abundance of snacks available in the lobby.

Great talent! Especially the actor named Philip. Although he was not a main character he stood out. His acting, dancing and comedy. There was a lot of talented singing and comedy throughout the show.

My recent visit with my daughters to the Francis Wilson Playhouse in Clearwater, FL, was an absolute delight!

A very professional amateur venue with talented and dedicated volunteer actors. Some are very talented and the shows are very enjoyable but it's not Broadway and you shouldn't expect it to be. The lighting is excellent, the seats are very comfortable but the building is old as is most of the audience. Parking is easy, free and plentiful. The concessions bar is reasonable and alcohol is available. A great positive experience and worth the money!

Great show! Affordable tickets to see ELF with my grand daughter. The concessions thing is WEIRD. I get that someone has to clean the theatre, but you should not SELL snacks at intermission if you can't EAT them in theater. Also alcoholic beverages being sold would be a nice change as well. I will be back to see another show in the future!
