Had a fantastic time with friends and family. It was chill, then someone put money in the jukebox and it became awesome. Staff was very helpful and gave us some simple instruction to get us on our way. Prices per lane were very reasonable and by the hour. Best part was everyone was on equal skill basis (none) and we just loved it when the ax would strike and stick. There are types and styles of axes from light to heavy weight (single hand or double hand throw). Took tons of pictures and there was simple snacks and drinks (water, soda, energy etc.) for sale if anyone got hungry.

*if you have a group, please consider doing the safety waivers a head of time on the web site it takes time to enter the names etc. for each person. It's not hard just takes time. You need them before you enjoy the fun and so do the owners. The waivers are good for a year, you don't have to do it each time.

Parking is just to left of the entrance and also available street side. They have reasonable party rates too. Kids were reluctant to leave and we ended up playing pool for a bit before we left. The pool tables alone were enough to bring us back.

I went a while back for my son's birthday party, and even though I had no clue what I was supposed to be doing, I really enjoyed myself. Definitely will be going again in the near future. Thanks for giving the kids something to do besides getting in trouble.

It is great to have something like that in town for the older kids! The 2 employees there Monday evening were very kind & helpful. It turned out to be a great birthday for a 13 yr old. However, I know it's Franklinton, but with families with smaller kids, like ages 7 & 4, they did get bored extremely fast, & the arcade games are wayyyy to expensive. My family did enjoy it, & the party turned out great! So all in all, it was good!

So many folks say there's nothing to do in Franklinton. Well that's definitely changed! The hatchet house is awesome!! You come in and you feel like family. You gotta try it.
