My husband used to work here as a houseman many years ago. He told me about this place being haunted and so he surprised me by taking me to visit. And i felt like time stopped. I could feel the energies of the past. Al Capone the notorious gangsta stayed there and even has a drink named after him. Pics of the classics movie stars like Gene Kelly Marlene Dietrich and even the Bad boys movie 2 was filmed there. I saw the aviary of birds and the decor is breathtakingly Gorgoues. The concept of the architecture the way things came together to create an atmosphere of nobility nostalgic and class its impeccable. They have golf spas ballrooms to hold any functions gift shops valet and its in the middle of coral cables surrounded by multi million dollars home. A Shakespeare theater and much more. One day I hope to stay there so I can play with the ghosts. The pool is a site it's very inviting and there is a waterfall where the diving board was once and I was informed someone died so they took it down and made it a water fall. Different rooms with names I loved the Anastasia maybe one day I can afford it and tell my grandchildren that i stayed at the very famous Baltimore Hotel.

We have had season tickets to Actor's Playhouse since they were out on Kendall. I loved it then and love it more since they moved into the Gables.
Honestly, every year just gets better and better!!
IMO - They pick great shows. The actors and singers that are chosen are great to superb quality. The stage craft and lighting are always beautiful and welcoming. The music is usually live in the pit for main stage performances and also really good!
The balcony stage AKA the area upstairs is a more intimate setting and the sound is much clearer. We go with our older aunties and they say for the sound downstairs one needs to use the headphones, whilst upstairs does not.
When our kids were small we would take them to see the kids shows.
I recommend that everyone goes to see live theater and especially at Actor's Playhouse!!
