What happened to the Pizza? The pizza has changed a lot from what it used to be. For one, they went to shredded cheese instead of the slices. Secondly, the spice recipe has changed. Too bad, we used to LOVE their pizza and drove 70 miles to pick up a few raw to take home. Oh well.

This place was incredible. You always know a place is going to be good when the walls are decked in family photos. Meat sauce, chicken parm, and the house dressing are amazing.

SO DISAPPOINTED, AGAIN!
Horrible attitude. Charged us $33+ for our to go order. Checked the To Go bag before I left. Jumbo shrimp “dinner” consisted of 5, burnt and tasteless shrimp at and a cup of cottage cheese for $17. The spaghetti “dinner” was spaghetti and a salad that was drowned in oil/vinegar and wilted from being put on top the hot food for $13. Had to request the rest of my order and got a flippant attitude. Couldn’t even get bread and butter. I was informed, you can’t have it with a take out order. But they charge additional $2.50 for takeout orders. Shame on you Garzanelli’s. Won’t be back.

The only reason I’m writing this is to warn other people. We wanted to like this place SO badly. We had just hiked at starved rock all day and were so excited to drop in for some dinner, but the food was so astonishingly bad that we were too nauseated to take more than a few bites each. The old fashioneds tasted like watered down and booze-free slushies, which we mentioned to the waitress. We weren’t offered a replacement or comp, which is fine, but when the fried chicken dinner was practically inedible and tasted like the frying oil hadn’t been changed in many days, we felt like it would’ve been a waste of time to say anything about that either. It was so disgusting that we spent the hour in the car home after dinner talking about how badly we wanted to get the ungodly taste of that oil out of our mouths. Literally haunting. The wait staff was really sweet and professional though. Maybe there are other things to order there? Don’t get the chicken

Word's cannot describe how wonderful this supper club truly is! From the service, the atmosphere and most importantly the delicious food! I love the vintage circle bar as you enter the restaurant. Highly recommend you pull up a stool and order a beverage! The spaghetti is my absolute favorite! What a gem this supper club is!!!
