I didn't get the full experience because school was out for Christmas break.

A smaller campus situated in the heart of the city, this town & it's school is proud of it's heritage. Campus police were very chill. Thank God for that. Nobody wants to be harassed by the folks when they're trying to enjoy themselves & their surroundings.

I'm a huge sports fan & thus attracted to the campus by the legendary Eddie Robinson. His aura & his legend remain omnipresent throughout the campus & the city itself. Recommend a visit to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum if ever in town. It won't disappoint. Home of the Fighting Tigers

My son wanted to go to a HBCU so badly and chose this college, the beginning process was horrible, nobody answered the phones nor responded to my emails. But he still insists on going, we finally recvd information after finally talking to someone after like 2 months, that email came through I went in his room woke him up and said, "ARE YOU READY TO BECOME A TIGER?" He hit that submit button so fast, so now I guess I'm a Gram Tiger Mom. I just Pray and hope when we go visit everything goes smoother than the process before and that I can afford it bcuz I don't want to go in debt signing up for a bunch of loans, seeing that you have to pay for them to accept your application, registration and other things which is crazy to me. I just hope that when they visited college day at University of Texas that they keep their word on things they told us. After we visit April 2024 I will update my review!!!

I <3 my hbcu.. This hbcu holds so many memories for me, I met some great life long friends here as well. I remember me going to aerobics workout everyday with the amazing cheer coach then directly after hit the café.

I’m excited for her but I wasnt impressed with the dorm furniture. My daughter didn’t have a mattress, broken drawer in dresser, had a half broken outlet cover (very dangerous) and a ripped up dorm chair. I know they can hire folks to help fix some things, but overall I enjoyed the campus. There are a lot of buildings in process of being replaced and they have some nice buildings and a lot of dorms. I didn’t try the cafeteria food but I will when I return.

Is there any place better than GSU? I'm so glad that my family is entrusting an HBCU with their educational goals. This great place is situated in a nice little town that is right off the main corridor of I-20. Not too far from much and close to a lot!

I have so many wonderful memories attending the best, "Grambling State University." There's no other place I could have attended that prepared me so much for the real world. Great experiences, education, and meeting new people from around the U.S. You get what you put in. Even though I went to a few parties, I was still able to maintain a 3.5 GPA!!
