Ok, the dog swims are amazing! Our dog loves swimming out for tennis balls! It costs $10 and worth every penny. It's a great way to meet fellow dog owners and wear your dog out.

This is a great dog park. Mulch is kept up and replaced yearly. Volunteers do a great job keeping the park clean. It also has access to great hiking trails, a brook, and Salmon Brook Park which all require the dogs to be leashed. They do have a rule against children under eight for there safety, because the dogs really get going fast and colisions can occur. Overall a really nice place to bring your best buddies.

By far the best dog park in the area. People watch and control there dogs. Park is clean has a Brook for swimming and access to great hiking trails in McLean game reserve. A park where both the dog and there humans will both have a great time, and come back over and over.

For the first few years this was a great Park. However in the last year the dogs and owners have gotten horrendous. It has been terrible one visit after another. Aggressive dogs and unaccountable owners.

Idk what the solution is, but we are no longer going to be using the fenced in area. Too many awful owners these days.

I'm sorry to all the good owners and dogs but it just isn't worth the risk for us to go in there.

Park is not as big as some others in the state but still a good place for some off leash ball play. Park is well kept and usually not over populated.

I am not a dog owner. I only encounter dogs while running, trail running, out and about, and if they are off leash on the trails and run up to me. Or the one time a neighbors dog jumped in our car as we were trying to leave for family photos. It's spring break and thought I'd bring the kids over to the dog park to look at the dogs, we just.had a few extra minutes. The dogs jumped up at the fence to the kids and the kids pet them. The owners are all presumably nearby so I assumed it was OK. A couple minutes go by then from across the way a woman yells like she is mad at us - DONT PET MY DOG. (I have every intention to totally respect this.) I reply, I'm sorry we won't, which dog is yours? To which she yells back THIS ISNT A PETTING ZOO. A gentleman comes over to talk to me - I think he is just explaining that she's worried her dog might bite one of the kids. Ok no problem - then she should get up and be with her dog. I decide to leave, which is what i think the dog owners wante us to do. We had to go anyways, we were just stopping to say hi for 5 minutes during the kids Spring break visit to Salmon Brook Park. Bummer of an experience.
