Seen the Nutcracker and the ballet was amazing. The staff upon entering were friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. The ushers helped find seats and brought booster seats to children who needed them. It was very clean throughout the entire building. The ballet itself was just a well put together. I would and will go again. It's a great way to spend some time with the family and to engage in the community. Well worth anyone's time.

Our local Nutcracker performance is always both a feast for the eyes and ears! The costumes are exquisite, the music delightful, and the choreography impeccable. Well done, everyone! The Grand Opera house is a local treasure, and the artists never disappoint.

This is a beautiful venue! We enjoyed a youth production of Annie and was amazed at how many kids were on stage at once. It was a wonderful night! I look forward to going back.

This is a very talented group. I've watched several plays here throughout the years. Its a great intimate venue, with current props and casts.
Some of the same actors/actresses in plays and its really great to see their range. Concessions with modest prices. Clean restrooms, and great shows.
Free parking half hour before shows across the street.
Enjoy the night, and buy the season passes!!

Not only have I been a long time supporter of the grand I also was a janitor there it was so cool to see the backstage and other employees only areas of this magnificent old building if the walls could talk…from musicals to plays symphonies one man shows the entertainment that has been through here is truly amazing certainly a staple living or visiting Dubuque. Should be safe as the police dept is across the street and plenty of parking a large lot next door as well as walking the historic Main Street plenty of dining near by on any budget makes a great date night for lovers or family entertainment for all ages

A magnificent theater, well appointed, adequately lighted, and decorated for the holidays. Maddie Poppe was wonderful on stage. It was a very pleasant experience.

Grand Community Theater has consistently good performances at very reasonable fees. We have had season tickets for a couple years now, and love the local entertainers! Just saw Frog and Toad with our granddaughter who was fully engaged and loved the humourous Toad and Snail. Snack and beverage options are available.
