Went and seen "Taken By The Sky"
Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band & they rocked!! Food was ridiculously expensive!!
2 corn dogs & 2 drinks $32 🤯 Other than that not bad for the lil ole gray's harbor county fair!! 🤘

My friend and I went to the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds to attend the Model Railroad show and swap meet.
The only part of the fair ground we were in was the indoor exhibition area attached to the horse riding arena.
The show was excellent and included several modular layouts in On3, HO and N Scale. They were all great, but the On3 was spectacular.
The swap meet side was very good and had a decent vendor turn out, along with reps for Great Northern and Norther Pacific Historical Societies, as were reps for the Simpson Railroad Preservation Organization. I don't think that's what they call themselves, but that's what they do, work on preserving the Simpson Logging Railroad. They're a great bunch of folks dedicated to preserving the last bit of Logging Railroad history in the country.
It was a great show, and the vendors all helped me spend my $200.00 budget and walk out the door with $300.00 worth of stuff! And a new membership in the Great Northern Historical Society! I think the organizers name is Tim, so if you read this Tim, keep up the great work!!!!

These fair grounds are located in the town of Elma wa. It's kind of has it all. Dirt track racing. Horse arena. Model train shows. It's a small place that hosts a number of events throught the year. I attended the train show. It was free which was nice because it was rather small. Same layouts as year before. Looks like lots of unused space this year with room for other vendors or layouts. Hoping it gets larger next year. Couple different layouts would be nice to see.

Visited for the Christmas Holiday Craft Fair. It was the BEST craft fair ever. Vendors had variety of goods. Event spread out in multiple buildings which allowed room to explore each booth. Definitely putting it on my annual list.

Had a blast! Well maybe I should be more clear... I helped with setting up and cleaning up the fireworks display that was presented after the racing. Seeing the card run from behind turn two was quite exciting as well! Next time I will be in the regular seats!

Tons of exciting things to do! I enjoyed watching kids having fun here. Hope this Fair will last a bit longer.
