Happy Bend Kennel has given us the most perfect, cuddly, loving and intelligent dog. Meadow is an Australian Indian dog and she is everything Clint promised us she would be. Watching her grow has been bittersweet but her personality and temperament grow with her daily along without her size! So grateful to be informed on how to take care of our girl and look out for what she needs, due to all of the useful information Clint provides and reviews with you prior to getting your pup. If you’re on the fence about getting a dog from here, just be willing to to put in some work to get yourself an amazing well rounded pup!

We got our sweet girl a few months ago and it has been such an awesome adventure with her. Clint is an amazing breeder, very knowledgeable and helpful, and an overall awesome person who really cares for his pups. He went out of his way on short term notice to deliver his pup to us all the way down in Florida making sure to meet our needs as well as the puppies. When we met our girl, she was so gentle, the softest fur ever and so sweet. I am really allergic to most dogs and thought I would never be able to have a bigger breed dog that is hypoallergenic but it is true when they say that this breed is hypoallergenic. I have not had any allergies or itchiness with our pup and it has been amazing. She is a quick learner, very gentle with our kids, mild mannered, very smart, sweet, and the most beautiful dog ever!! So grateful for Clint and his family!! We love our Kaya girl! ?

We love all our dogs from Happy Bend Kennel. We have 2 German Indian Dogs and we just got our 3rd puppy from Clint... an Australian Indian Doodle. He is awesome puppy! He has had no accidents in the house at all. He isn't scared of his big brothers at all either. Just wants to be with them and play all day long! He has the sweetest personality and fits right in with the German Indian Dogs. Clint is awesome person to work with and cares a lot about each puppy. He does a great job raising them so they are ready for their new homes.

I have always wanted a large breed dog having grown up with smaller breeds my whole life and I can honestly say, I couldn’t have picked a better breeder in Clint and the German Indian dog. My best friend since the day I picked him up, my bud Zeppelin. To start off, I want to talk about Clint and what he does in preparation for first time dog owners. All the work leading up to getting one of his pups, in my opinion, is necessary because you quickly realize that once you get your pup, they are literally your child. I will forever be grateful for his attention to detail, open dialogue for any questions prior to and after “adoption” and lifelong bond as he cares about every one of his puppies. And you can feel Clint’s love with how the German Indian breed is. Zeppelin is by far the sweetest, gentlest, lovable large breed dog I have ever interacted with. He seemingly glides around other dogs in the friendliest way and has the ability to lounge when necessary but turns on the playful gears when the time is right. He is calm at home and around babies/children as well as elderly family while having the endurance to go on hikes and jump in the creek on a hot summer day. To boot, he is an absolute handsome gent as there isn’t a walk where someone’s jaw drops or a “what kind of dog is that he’s beautiful” is stated to me. Zepp is comfortable in settings with crowds nor any issues with fireworks and other dogs. Watching him interact and chase other doggos at the dog park is majestic to watch, like a fiery tornado. I am always so proud of him as a dog owner. When home, his potty training was almost instant, he’s quiet virtually all the time other than when I howl and get him to join and haven't had any issues with chewing furniture or eating food that wasn’t his. He has recently become cuddlier and on rainy days, I wouldn’t want to spend time with anyone else. He checks every box you want in a dog: calm, comfortable with others, lovable, carefree yet at the same time ready to have fun and adventure. I love him to death and I am so happy and fortunate to have him in my life. He’s the absolute best and you will not be disappointed if you decide to grab one or two or three from Clint! Highly recommend, 5 out of 5 stars ?

We just got our new Australian Indian Dog puppy "Ovi" from Happy Bend Kennel and in just 3 days he has exceeded all expectations. He has the most beautiful coat of fur, his temperament is calm and playful, and his intelligence is far beyond what we expected. We adopted an Australian Indian Dog from Happy Bend Kennel and couldn’t be happier. The owner, Clint, drove a long distance to deliver the pup in a vehicle specifically adapted to transport pups. Clint is the most caring breeder I have ever met, and I believe the love for his pups transcends to the pups. Our pup, Bumblebee (father is Optimus so the name was too good to pass for Transformers fans!) adapted very well to his new environment and with our older dog as well. Clint’s guidance and advice ensured we were ready. I hope Happy Bend Kennel is around for a long time as we will certainly get more pup(s)! We love our Australian Indian Dog from happy bend. Such a wonderful breed. Our pups temperament is the best for our family. We have 2 kids (5&7) and he wishes we had more pets bc he lovesssss friends. If you are consider an Australian Indian dog, do it. They are such lovers of your attention, affection, and will be the perfect addition to any family.

We recently added a second German Indian Dog to our family. Six years ago we contacted Clint at Happy Bend Kennel and he hooked us up with such an amazing dog…ACE. He just met his sister KONA last week and they are going to be best friends. We cannot say enough about this breed and Clint as a breeder.
